CELEBRITY Big Brother viewers were left in hysterics as Lauren Simon made a huge error on her first night in the house.
The reality TV star bounded into the house full of energy but it seemed that she hadn't been brushing up on her co-stars before heading in.
The Cheshire Housewife began to settle into her new surroundings as she quizzed her fellow housemates on where she knew them from.
Lauren, 51, soon struck up a conversation with This Morning legend Fern Britton as she began to enquire if she had seen the star recently.
The ITVBe star said to Fern: "I think I saw you, was it you whose written a book about... what's the chef called?

"I'm sure it was you."
As she struggled to explain just what book she meant, Fern interjected to say: "No, I write novels."
Lauren then continued: "Yeah, I'm sure it was you.
"Something to do with diving into the sea? Is it not you?"
As Fern looked perplexed at what Lauren was saying she soon realised that she had mixed her up with another fellow ITV legend - Lorraine Kelly.
She clapped back: "No! That's Lorraine Kelly. Lorraine's written the book."
Lauren held her hand to her face as she appeared mortified at the epic mix-up before she apologised to the star.
It seemed as though she was referring to Lorraine's newly released novel The Island Swimmer after she undertook an extensive press tour to promote the book on various TV and radio channels.
It left viewers in hysterics that Lauren had mixed the two women up and thought she was in the CBB house with the Lorraine star.
Writing on X - formerly Twitter - one fan said: "Lauren thinks Fern is Lorraine Kelly? I can't breathe."

Another added: "Not Lauren getting Fern and Lorraine Kelly mixed up..."
A third chimed in to say: "Obsessed with Lauren being adamant Fern wrote Lorraine's book."
Before a fourth penned: "Lol at Lauren trying to convince Fern Britton that she's Lorraine Kelly and has written Lorraine Kelly's new novel."
Lauren's appearance on the show comes as The Sun reported how it had ruffled feathers among her fellow housewives.
Insiders claim the ladies are fuming to learn that she has bagged a spot on the ITV show, despite trying themselves to land similar reality gigs.
Long-standing cast members including Tanya Bardsley are particularly miffed after Lauren has ducked out of several series' of RHOC over the years.
A source told The Sun: "The other Housewives Of Cheshire are not impressed that Lauren got the gig because they feel like she has been favoured over them and they don’t get why.
"She left The Real Housewives for a few years, yet others like Tanya were there from the beginning and haven’t had the same opportunity.
"She stuck by the show the whole time and Lauren didn’t, yet Lauren is the one that’s been given this amazing new platform by ITV."
The source added: "A lot of them have had meetings for various shows like the jungle and Dancing On Ice over the years but never got any of them, and now they feel Lauren has just walked into this.
"It’s caused a lot of bad feeling.”
