"I'm going to be showing you how to get an extremely water repellent windshield and silence your windshield wipers if they're noisy," the YouTuber, Bill (@BillOfAllTrades2016), said in a video.

Bill, a self-described "jack of all trades" who shares home and car DIYs, has racked up more than 14,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.

First, the YouTuber suggests bringing the car to get a detailed hand wash.

Once the car dries, he said drivers should use a rayon-based towel to wipe any extra dirt from the window.

Then, he employs his a secret agent product - Nu Finish Car Polish - to the windshield.

"This is usually for the body of the car," the YouTuber confesses.

"But I also like using it on the windshield. It makes a nice finish on it."

Bill dabs two fingers into the product using another clean rayon-based towel before buffing it into the window.

"We lightly apply it to the windshield until it becomes nice and hazy," he suggested.

Then, Bill said drivers can buff the product out of the windshield once the solution dries.

After the four-step process, Bill poured buckets of water on the windshield.

The water fell off the windshield with little resistance.

"As you can see most of the water just beads right off," he said.

CAR CARE

Car experts are advising drivers to prepare their vehicles for spring's weather.

Vehicle prep for winter weather and snow is much more intensive to maintain safety - but spring weather can return a car back to factory settings to maintain resale value, a salesman said.

"Spring is here," Detroit-based salesman Big Lindsberg (@lindsberg4real) said in a video in March 2023.

The salesman gave five driver tips for motorists looking to maintain their car's value - one tip was free.

Another car expert, Lauren Fix, said drivers should keep up with their tire maintenance as temperatures rise.

"You probably want to check the sneakers of your car, which are your tires," she said.

"Don't forget to have your tires checked because there are only four things that touch the ground, no matter what you're driving."
