Jonathan Majors broke his silence admitting that he's "disappointed" as his request to toss out his conviction for third degree assault and harassment was denied on Wednesday.
In a statement to The Mirror, Jonathan's lawyer Priya Chaudhry said: "Jonathan feels disappointed by the outcome of the motion, yet he upholds respect for the process. He continues to draw strength from his friends, fans, family, and dogs, harnessing his art and creativity. As he eagerly anticipates closing this chapter, he looks forward to redirecting his time and energy fully toward his family and his art."
This comes as the former Marvel actor was previously convicted of third degree assault and harassment in December 2023.
He was arrested in March after police had responded to a call to his home where they discovered his ex-girlfriend, dancer Grace Jabbari, slumped in a closet. During the hearing, he faced four charges, not all of which he was found guilty for.

After the foreperson handed down the decision, Majors' sentencing was planned for Tuesday, February 6. at 9:00 a.m. EST, but was postponed on the day of. Instead, Majors attended a virtual hearing that afternoon in regards to the now-denied motion.
In the requested motion, the 34-year-old actor's attorney argued the prosecution provided “insufficient" evidence in his case. She claimed that their reasoning was inconsistent between chargers should be thrown out.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the motion said: "A careful analysis of the trial record shows that there is quite simply no evidence that Mr. Majors acted recklessly, as opposed to intentionally (or not at all), let alone enough such evidence to support a verdict beyond a reasonable doubt that Mr. Majors committed reckless assault."
The former Creed star's sentencing date is now officially scheduled for April 8 at 9:00 a.m. EST, barring no further motions or filings from his attorney that could postpone the process longer. If the actor is found guilty of the charges against him, he could be facing a potential sentence of up to one year in prison. Since the high-profile case began, Majors was dropped from Marvel Studios and the Walt Disney Co.
