After parting ways with Stefon Diggs, the Buffalo Bills are on the lookout for a new receiver as they look to reinforce their skill group around quarterback Josh Allen.
Diggs future was the subject of plenty of speculation over the last couple of years, and on Wednesday the Bills agreed to trade him to the Houston Texans - and with it absorb a $30m deal cap hit for the 2024. As part of the deal, the Bills have received a 2025 second round meaning their options to replace him are limited.
While this year's draft offers a deep receiver class, their free agency and trade options could offer a number one target for Allen. Since joining the team from the Minnesota Vikings in 2020, Diggs has racked up over 5,000 yards and scoring 37 touchdowns in the regular season.
He's now off to join a strong Houston Texans team, which was significantly boosted by three rookie superstars in last year's draft. But what about the Bills? Mirror Sports US has looked at five potential options for Buffalo after trading away their star receiver.

Tee Higgins (Cincinnati Bengals)
Higgins is one of the top young wide receivers in the league, and would see the most ideal replacement for Diggs. At just 25 years old, Higgins has shown the ability to be a number one receiver despite playing behind Ja'Marr Chase at the Bengals.
The Cincinnati Bengals won't want to let Higgins go, but they might have to. They need to save money to pay Ja'Marr Chase, who they see as more important than Higgins for their future. Higgins has been franchise-tagged but there have been suggests he could still be traded.
The Bills could offer a similar deal to the one they got for Diggs, with another draft pick probably needed to make it happen. This would make them younger in that position - and maybe even better.
Odell Beckham Jr (free agent)
Odell Beckham Jr is a free agent who has been linked with the Bills many times, and he could be picked up at any time - and probably for less money.
The 10-year veteran has had problems with injuries in the last few seasons, which have affected his athleticism and ability to make plays - but he could be a reliable choice for Allen to throw to alongside players like Khalil Shakir and tight end Dalton Kincaid.
Beckham Jr could be signed along with a younger selection from the draft, on a one-year deal before moving on and letting younger players on the team take over further down the line.
Ladd McConkey (NFL Draft)
McConkey is one of a host of options available in a deep draft class at the receiver position. Buffalo might consider him over Brian Thomas Jr as he seems to be a better direct replacement for Diggs.
McConkey is a clever route-runner who's super fast and could dominate from the slot in his first season in the league. His quick feet and release off the line give him a big advantage, plus he's a huge vertical threat with his breakaway speed.
The Kansas City Chiefs have been linked with McConkey, but Buffalo could swoop in and take him before the Super Bowl champions.

Seen as a top 10 player in the class, the Bills would likely have to move up to select Odunze in the draft - but it's a move that could be well worth it in the long run.
Odunze is a tall, strong wideout with amazing hands - capable of making incredible catches and beating defenders with his size. He projects as a go-to receiver, who has Hall of Fame potential - regularly compared to Larry Fitzgerald.
The Washington wide receiver could be a risk, and would cost Buffalo draft capital to move up and select, but he might be the best option for the team - and the only one who could even make the Bills a stronger offense.
Brian Thomas Jr (NFL Draft)
Thomas Jr. is a player who's often predicted to be chosen by the Bills due to the nature of him likely being available at the bottom of the first round. The speedy LSU star will likely be a top contender for their first-round pick when they have the 28th selection of the draft.
Even though he played second to Malik Nabers, who's expected to be a top-10 draft pick this year, Thomas Jr still managed to score five touchdowns in his final season.
The talented LSU player could potentially be available in the second round due to a deep pool of wide receivers. Buffalo might even double-dip at the position later this month.
