Michael Jackson's nude pictures could be exposed after two men who accused him of child abuse have attempted to unseal court records in a new lawsuit.

Wade Robson, 41, and James Safechuck, 46, both claim that they were repeatedly raped by the pop superstar as children in the '80s and '90s both at his Neverland ranch and in other locations. Both men have previously brought lawsuits against Jackson's production companies, with them starting a new attempt last year.

The pair are now trying to gain access to sealed police records relating to the 2005 paedophilia charges brought against Michael as part of their case, which could go to trial next year. However, legal representatives for MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures - which have been owned by Michel's estate since he died in 2009 - have claimed that the lawsuit is an attempt to obtain "photographs of Michael Jackson's genitalia and naked body taken by police."

There are currently no further details of the images and when they were taken or why but it is known that when police officers are investigating sexual assault allegations they sometimes ask alleged victims to provide them with a description of the accused's body and genitals so they can use distinguishing marks or features to form part of the case.

A motion to have the four subpoenas thrown out of court was filed by Jackson's legal team at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday and detailed that the images are sealed by a court-entered protective order.

The documents - obtained by People - read: "Beyond the invasion of privacy issues, the available records indicate the photographs [the] plaintiffs now seek are also subject to a strict protective order agreed to by Michael Jackson and Santa Barbara law enforcement and entered by the Santa Barbara Superior Court."

The paperwork also claims that Michael did not willingly provide the images adding that "they were the result of a court-ordered search based on a false statement in what became a discredited criminal investigation. To allow [the] plaintiffs to exploit that series of circumstances to their benefit by obtaining those photographs now adds a second defilement to the first."

The allegations made against Michael by Wade and James became the subject of the 2019 HBO documentary Leaving Neverland. James made claims of suffering abuse between 1988 - 1992 from the age of 11, with Wade claiming his abuse started in 1990 when he was eight years old and took place until 1996.

The documentary featured disturbing accusations of the alleged abuse which included claims of Michael telling them they were in romantic relationships with him and details of oral and anal sex. Michael has never been found guilty of any charges levied against him.
