We haven't seen any price drops on Amazon's audiobook platform so far in 2024 - so this spring deal will come as a welcome surprise for book-lovers (and bargain-hunters for that matter).
The last time we saw the service fall in price was last Black Friday, when it was reduced to £2.99 for 3 months - so this springtime offer is much better.
Amazon's audiobook service has boomed in popularity in the last decades, with subscribers devouring fiction and non-fiction alike during their commute, gym session or alone time.

How does Audible work?
Audible subscribers are given one 'credit' per month, which sets them up with one title of their choice to download and keep.
The standard plan usually costs £7.99 a month after a 30-day trial period, but now you can get a full 3 months of use for less than a quid.
How long will the Audible 3 months for 99p deal last?
The current Audible promotion runs until 11.59pm on Wednesday 17th April.
That gives you a few weeks to take advantage of the deal, but if you want our advice? Put a reminder in your diary.
Also, keep in mind that once the 3-month promotional period has come to an end, your subscription will auto-renew and you'll automatically pay the standard amount for the next month.

If you missed the springtime Audible offer, don't despair: Amazon routinely offers discounts and promotions on its audiobook service.
You'll generally find Audible is cheaper than usual during Amazon Prime Day: a two-day sale that sees lots of deals offered exclusively to Prime subscribers.

Amazon haven't yet confirmed the official date of the next Prime Day, but historically, it has always taken place in July (and since 2022 a second one has happened in October).
