And he revealed his brother capitalised on his underdog status with a cheeky punt on a first-round KO.

He said: "I knew I was going to do it, I was confident all week.

"I'm not a betting man, my brother just won a couple of grand on me because he bet this round!"

Greene, 31, revealed he left his day job digging holes and fitting water mains to focus on training full time for the fight of his life.

He said: "I train hard, I gave up work for this. I jump from job to job to fit around providing for my kids and being able to fight for a living.

"And for this one I gave up work completely to come here and put on a show."
