Gareth Gates has shared a rare snap of his daughter, Missy, who celebrated her 15th birthday on Saturday.
The Pop Idol star, 39, does not usually share pictures of his family on Instagram, but made an exception as he wished the teen many happy returns of the day in an adorable post. Paying tribute to his "beautiful little lady", Gareth captioned the photo - in which Missy looks the image of her famous dad -: "Happy Birthday to my beautiful little lady @missygates_x Daddy loves you more than the world."
Flocking to the comments section, expressing their disbelief at Missy's age, one fan replied: "Wow she’s gorgeous and grown up so fast." Another wrote: "Can’t quite believe how grown up you are now!" While a third shared: "Wow! Never knew you had a kid that age."

Gareth split from Missy’s mum Suzanne Mole in 2011 after ten years together. He then began a relationship with Coronation Street actress Faye Brooks, when they were both cast in Legally Blonde the musical, confirming the romance in 2013. The singer popped the question to Faye in 2019, but then in August of the same year they ended their relationship.

However, Gareth then found love again, going Instagram official with new girlfriend Allana Taylor last year.
Gareth confirmed the romance rumours on his Instagram page as he posted pictures of the pair with the caption: "A heart full of love." Allana, who starred in the West End production of Grease, also took to her social media to share the news with her fans as she posted a picture of the couple to an event together and simply captioned it: "Found my one."
After losing out to Will Young in the first-ever Pop Idol final back in 2022, Gareth was finally crowned victorious when he won Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2023. Speaking to the Mirror about the experience, he said: "It actually felt like I’d been preparing for this my whole life. The struggle with my speech and having to be mentally strong to hear them say [I had passed]. I was like, ‘Wow, this is incredible’. I thought at last, I’ve actually won a talent TV show and not came second this time. It was a massive weight off my shoulders. I’ve finally redeemed myself from being the biggest loser in the UK back in 2002."
