S Club star Rachel Stevens' pride was almost palpable when she posted a series of videos of both her daughters performing on stage, showing off their incredible talent.
And it was clear both her daughters Millie, ten and Amelie, 13, were following in their mother's footsteps as their ease on stage, not to mention their talent, left Rachel in awe. In one clip, Rachel, 45, shared with fans her youngest daughter Minnie belting out what appeared to be a musical theatre song, while dressed casually in a cream knitted top and a pair of wide leg denim jeans. She captioned the clip: "My heart." She then added: " Wait for the sass, my heart could burst."
And it seems it's not just Minnie who has inherited Rachel's talent, so too has her eldest daughter Amelie, who she shares with her ex husband Alex Bourne. In another clip, Amelie was on stage wearing a black one sleeve top teamed with a pair of khaki trousers, which was reminiscent of Rachel back in her hey day. And accompanying this clip, Rachel wrote: "Forever and always so proud of my girls." She continued: "My girl working so hard and following her dreams and passions. Fills my heart."
This comes after Rachel announced that she has been putting the finishing touches to her first autobiography, Finding My Voice - A Story of Strength, Self-belief and S Club. Completing her tell-all memoir has taken up all of Rachel's time which is the reason she said she's been absent from social media. In a statement on her Instagram, she told fans: "Hi all I know I've been really quiet on here for a while...It's been full on to say the least!"
She added: "Thought I'd share this little throwback as over the past year I have been working hard on a very exciting and personal project. I've literally been either in mum mode or writing mode and its been a lot but it's nearly there!! Eek. Can't wait to share my story with you all , sending much love."
S Club 7 ‘to announce reunion’ 25 years after 90s pop group’s first singleThe book is due for release later this month. But at the time of announcing her news last year, she wrote: "Hi everyone, I am SO excited to finally announce that behind the scenes, I've been working on a brand new, very personal project… I've written my first-ever book! FINDING MY VOICE: A Story of Strength, Self-Belief and S Club 7 will publish on the 25th April next year."
She added: "There's so much I haven't had the confidence to share before now. I can't wait to let you in and share my story with you all." And her social media was inundated with warm responses from her fans. One person wrote: "I am so very proud of you my person, I can't wait for you to share your story." Another commented: "I need at least three chapters on Come And Get It alone. So excited for this!" And a third person said: "Can't wait to read it, Rach!! You've always been a huge inspiration!"
