A woman was left spooked after discovering a "haunted" toy in an abandoned mental institution from the 1800s.
The chilling moment was caught on camera by Gabby, a 24-year-old urban explorer from the US. She stumbled upon the eerie building while researching online and decided to investigate it with her boyfriend Sonny, 25, and their friend Dan.
Although she didn't reveal the exact location, Gabby shared that the institution was once a state-run facility for people with mental disorders and accepted patients of all ages. It was reportedly closed down following several lawsuits over poor care and mistreatment of patients.
The site was the first Gabby ever explored, and she recently returned to find it in a state of severe decay, with peeling paint, debris, powdered asbestos in the basement, and signs of vandalism. But what shocked her was finding a small pink horse toy named Pinkie Pie from the My Little Pony series in one of the rooms.
In the video, the toy can be seen shaking its head and laughing on a red table. Gabby said: "It just started and we did not touch anything. It's been sitting here for years, so how the hell did that battery last?"

"Just grab it and throw it so hard at the wall," another user recommended. Someone else said: I do not claim this negative energy. " "This gave me really bad vibes make sure ur protected!"
"oh god," said another scared viewer. Another user commented: "Why are you just waiting there get in your car and hit the gas pedal in the zoom zoom." Someone else agreed: "I would have burned the place." Other viewers dubbed it "Ghost Pinkie" and "possessed".
Gabby described the visit to the abandoned location as "anxiety-inducing", and said she found items including patient files with personal medical documents inside the institution. She found one file with a young girl's photograph on it, showing that she had been admitted to the facility more than 50 years ago and Gabby believes the child may have been responsible for the pony toy.
She said: "I didn't think much of this discovery at the time. We ended up making our way to a different building and upon our entry we came across an eerie-looking My Little Pony doll.
"All three of us walked right by it and continued on through the rest of the building. Once we decided we were ready to leave, we walked by the doll again except this time, it began to move and laugh hysterically.
"We were immediately terrified and I decided to capture it on my phone since we were struggling to debunk what was occurring. If the doll had motion sensors then it should have gone off when we entered the building and walked by it earlier, yet it didn't."
However, the alarming noises made them question the presence of something unusual. The explorer said: "I had also decided to hold on to the girl's patient file that we had discovered earlier since I knew it was one of the last documents present in this location which deserved to be preserved.
"This made me question if there was possibly a connection between me making contact with a young girl's file and then being interacted with by a toy that she likely would have loved to play with. Regardless, I am uncertain of what we experienced and only know that it terrified us in the moment and leaves me wondering if it was simply a malfunctioning toy or something indicative of the paranormal."
