Amy Nuttall has been spotted without her wedding ring on after apparently taking back her love rat husband Andrew Buchan for a third time.
The couple were pictured on a family outing in Windsor together seven months after former Emmerdale and Downton Abbey star Amy, 41, took ‘cheating’ Andrew, 45, back after he allegedly walked out on her for actress Leila Farzad, 42 - his Better co-star.
But the couple, who share two children, got back together before splitting months later, and now it appears they have reconciled once more. While the pair appeared to be putting on a united front, Amy - who recently appeared in ITV drama Mr Bates vs The Post Office - is still not thought to be wearing her wedding band. And husband Andrew looked a bit sheepish as he walked at the back of the group with Amy’s father.
Their family outing was a low key affair with Amy dressed casually in blue jeans, a white shirt and khaki jacket with her red hair tied up loosely in a ponytail. Andrew also cut a casual figure in a blue jumper and black coat which he teamed with jeans and trainers.
It comes after Amy made a very public show of unity with Andrew when she recently spoke about being married to him, suggesting they are very much ‘on’ at the moment. In an interview with The Sunday Times, she said: “Generally speaking, in the last financial year – what can I tell you? – below a hundred grand, but I’m married, so it all goes into one pot. So it’s not as scary because I can lean on that.”
Jermain Defoe sparks marriage split fear after spending Christmas away from wifeSuggesting they had recently moved house, she added: “I’m the joint owner of our comfortable family home in Buckinghamshire. We owned a smaller house before.” So is Andrew sticking to the ‘seven marriage rules’ Amy allegedly set him as conditions for continuing their relationship.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, were said to have split at 2022 amid reports Broadchurch actor Andrew had cheated with his co-star Leila. Amy took him back last summer. At the time sources claimed she had implemented seven strict rules in a bid to save their marriage.
The first rule, a source told , was that Andrew was banned from contacting Leila. The second was that he must check in via FaceTime when working away from home. Thirdly, the couple would reassess their careers to ensure equality - Andrew has been in Bafta award-winning shows including The Crown and Broadchurch while Amy has taken on fewer roles and focused on motherhood.
The fourth rule was for both to have access to the other's phone at all times, and the final three clauses involved the '777 approach' whereby couples have a date every seven days, a night away every seven weeks and an adults-only holiday every seven months. "She doesn't want to throw away over a decade together but at the same time she is far from a pushover," the insider said.
However, it seems things initially didn't go to plan, as Amy reportedly pulled the plug on their relationship, leaving her 'gutted' - before now giving it another go. Amy is thought to have asked Buchan for a divorce in March last year. However, the actor reportedly begged for forgiveness after his relationship with Leila collapsed. The spouses reconciled, but it was said to have 'taken a lot' for Amy to give him another chance. The Mirror has contacted reps for Amy and Andrew for further comment on this story.
