Newsboy's racing tips for Wednesday's four meetings, including Kempton Nap

ELLADONNA can score a second course and distance win at Kempton Park over a mile in the Unibet More Boosts In More Races Handicap (6.30).

The four-year-old ran four times last term, showing promise on her debut at Salisbury over an extend mile and a furlong behind the useful Truthful in June, before finding Ayyab too good for her over a mile and a quarter at the Sunbury track four months later.

After folding when leading a furlong out at Wolverhampton over nine furlongs, trainer Robert Fanshawe brought her down in distance to today’s trip for her handicap debut here in December – and that did the trick. The daughter of Belardo ran on strongly to win by three-quarters of a length.

Expect her to improve further after a 126-day break.

Half an hour later on the same card, SILVER TRUMPET can blow his rivals away in the Unibet More Extra Place Races Handicap (7.00) over seven furlongs.

A winner over course and distance by a gallant head margin at the end of February, the Eve Johnson Houghton-trained gelding scored again 13 days ago at Southwell, with another gutsy effort for a neck victory over the same trip.

The three-year-old has proven to be a game performer and a hat-trick is on the cards against four rivals.
