"And they force you to have this little bar that stays in just to copy iPhone," they added.
"I CAN'T STAND THIS. And the new button on the keyboard made it all go up [so it's] always out of reach and can't be deleted."

Since going live, the thread has garnered dozens of upvotes on Reddit and even more responses from frustrated users.
"Yeah, it really sucks. Now I'm stuck with an ugly bar at the bottom of the screen," one person empathized.
"I don't care if they add new features, just don't take away stuff that already exists," they added.
"Why on earth would they want to get rid of gestures, which is getting rid of customization?" another user asked.
"And, I hope they stop this 'want' to be like iPhones. I much prefer the differences between the two," they continued.
"I do hope they don't start slowly getting rid of customization. If they do, then I'd be finding another manufacturer that uses Android OS that still has options."
Some users also quickly took the comments to share a "quick fix" for users.
"There is a fix for that. Download the Good Lock app in the Galaxy store," they said.
"Yup this whole setting change annoyed me. I got there in the end. Get NavStar," a second person echoed.

HOW TO RESTORE OLD NAVIGATION GESTURES
First, you need to download the Good Lock app and its NavStar module.
Once installed, open the app and install NavStar from the Make Up tab.
Note: The first time you open NavStar, you should allow all the permissions it asks for.
Then switch to the Swipe gestures section of NavStar.
Next, tap the Enable extra gesture settings option to enable it.
Once you've done that, you can close NavStar and Good Lock and open your phone's Settings.
Click on the Display tab option and open the Navigation bar menu.
