Kim Kardashian has given rare insights into her famous family's connection with OJ Simpson over the years.
The late NFL star was a friend of the Kardasian-Jenners, with Kim's father, who passed away in 2003, acting as an advisor in Simpson's legal team during his infamous 90s murder trial. But what has Kim ever said about the family's relationship?

Kim has rarely spoken in public about OJ after his murder trial, but did once speak of running into him back in 2007. Speaking to her pal Jonathan Cheban, she explained that she'd bumped into OJ alongside her sister Khloe, leaving them "emotional".

"We all, I think, all started crying," she recalled in September 2019.

Kris Jenner has been vocal about how she felt about her ex-husband's involvement in the murder trial, "The only thing I discuss with [Robert] is the children, we just keep it about the kids," she told Good Morning America in September 1995.
"Because I think what would happen is our opinions are so obviously black and white, that what is that going to do?" Kim spoke of her mother's clear disapproval in an unearthed interview in 2020, saying the entire ordeal "tore my family apart".

Respect for OJ's children
Kim has never commented on the trial's verdict, but has spoken openly about her respect for OJ's family. In the same interview, she said: "I just respect his children.
"So if I were to say something that would hurt someone’s feelings publicly — unless they're coming for me and I have to defend myself or a family member — then I'm aware."
Joke scandal
Kim landed in hot water with Nicole's sister Tanya Brown after seemingly making light of her murder during her 2021 hosting gig on Saturday Night Live.
