A MECHANIC has revealed a series of cars which are set to soar in price.
Used car guru Johnny Brighton, from the popular YouTube channel CarsWithJB, picked out three brilliantly cheap vehicles that pack plenty of punch.
Ford enthusiasts will be happy to learn that Focus RS - a sporty version of the well-liked hatchback - could turn a profit in a few years.
Johnny said: "Classic fast Fords, particularly ones that are more attainable for your everyday person, end up being pretty pricey later on in life.
"People who lusted after them when they were younger start buying the best ones when they are older."

Indeed, a number of the popular brand's modified models, including Coswort, Escort, and Capri, have become sought-after classics with a loyal following.
A Sierra Cosworth RS500 has sold for a whopping £600,000 at an auction in 2023 - a testament to this claim.
"Look at the price of Escort Cosworths and the old Mk1 and Mk2 Escorts, they are all the same story," Jonny added.
The Focus RS, which can be purchased "for around £15,000," sports an attractive body kit and a huge rear spoiler.
The impressive motor has an eye-watering top speed of 163 mph and can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than six seconds.
From one cult classic to another, Jonny also suggests looking out for the Subaru Impreza - which is going up in value as it gets older and rarer.
Once the champion vehicle for affordable thrills, this widely popular Japanese saloon was made famous by legendary rally drivers Colin McRae and Richard Burns.
Now base-level Imprezas retail for about £14,000, while higher-end models can cost more than £30,000.
Jonny added: "The earlier models were found with the two-litre turbocharged boxer-four engine that produces 261bhp, taking it to 60mph in 5.3 seconds... and the exhaust note is one of the most iconic in the entire automotive world."
The motor expert has also recommended to look out for BMW M5 with a hidden treasure of an engine.

Built between 2003 and 2010, this incredible model slowly lost its popularity to newer rides - dropping to the bottom of depreciation curve.
While drivers opted out for more modern vehicles with faster speeds and greater comfort, Jonny admitted he didn't understand the M5 slander.
He said: "I never really understood this - the E60 M5 has one of the most ludicrous engines in the history of the BMW with an incredibly iconic sound.
"How could it be overlooked as a cheap, depreciating saloon that nobody cares about?"
Jonny added that the cheapest he could find a decent M5 model was for around £15,000, with better quality versions rising to £40,000 - that "shows their true collector value."
