Claire Sweeney is said to be head over heels for Dancing On Ice co-star Ricky Hatton after falling for each other behind-the-scenes of the ITV show.
The 52-year-old soap star and the 45-year-old boxing star were contestants on season sixteen of ITV’s Dancing On Ice which aired earlier this year - with Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas being the one to eventually win the crown. But Claire and Ricky could arguably be deemed the true winners of the season as love is said to be blossoming between the pair.
Earlier this month, snaps emerged of the duo looking absolutely delighted to be in each other’s company on an apparent date night out together. And it seems love is deepening fast for the pair - with Claire said to be preparing to introduce Ricky to all the important people in her life.
The actress has never married by was in a six year relationship with a businessman named Tony Hibbard from 2001 until 2007. She then dated a gentleman named Daniel Reilly from 2013 until 2015 - and the pair share a son together. Meanwhile, Ricky has also never married but shares a son named Campbell Hatton - himself a 23-year-old boxer - with an ex-fiancée named Claire. And he recently split from a Playboy model named Chelsea Claire.

A source told the MailOnline: “Claire and Ricky have become really close. She wasn't looking for a relationship but then Ricky came along and it just felt right and natural and she's really happy.

“She signed up for a reality TV show and met a great guy so it feels a bit like winning the lottery and she's really counting her blessings as it all came from nowhere and often that's the best way. She's now really looking forward to introducing Ricky to her family and friends soon and they are really looking forward to the guy who has put a smile on Claire's face.”
Claire and Ricky’s romance was revealed just days after Claire had insisted she had no intention of getting into a relationship. She told the Mirror towards the end of March: “I’m not dating at the moment, no. I mean, I’m so fulfilled and it’s so exciting what I’m doing. I get all the love I want off my son, all the attention I want at work, and I’m financially secure. So at the moment, I’m not searching.”
She also said she was happy to wait a long time before finding the love of her life - taking inspiration from her grandma who didn’t find her true love until she was 86. Claire quipped: “If I have to wait that long, then so be it!”
