Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott have posted a hilarious clip sharing the reason they still haven't had children.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 31, and Love Island star, 27, have gone from strength to strength in the last few years and previously discussed their plans for marriage and kids. Last year, he told the Mirror that he sees plenty of children in his future.
However, until that time comes, the two have simply been enjoying each other's company while working on endless projects. Over the weekend, Sam took to his Instagram page to share a skit he filmed with his girlfriend, his sister Louise Thompson, her partner Ryan Libbey and, of course, Pete Wicks.
"Saw a couple do this on TikTok and couldn’t relate more @louise.thompson @ryan.libbey," he explained. In the video, Zara and Sam sat across from Louis and Ryan at the table as they explained why they still didn't have any children. However, they lip-synced using audio from cassö, D-Block Europe and RAYE's hit song Prada.
It starts with Zara dramatically lip-syncing the lyrics: "Twenty-two, I'm in Paris, baby/ Got a stripper's t*ts in my face, uh-huh," before the camera panned to Louise and Ryan looking shocked. She continued: "Roll up in a Bentley I want Christian," and Sam lip-synced one line: "I want Fendi."
Ex Love Island star's hot brother ‘lined up for South Africa series’Zara ended with the lyrics: "I want Prada, ah, ah," as Louise and Ryan looked concerned for the two. The video ended with Pete popping out from behind Sam to hum along to the video as they continued with their 'reason' for not having children. Sam captioned the post: "Explaining to my sister why we haven't given her son a cousin yet."
Documentary-maker Zara made sure to add in the comment section: "It’s the end for me… our child," while Louise wrote: "THE WHOLE TEAM-SHEET." Georgia Kousoulou commented: "I've watched this 10 times," while Anna Williamson posted: "The whole clan. Hilarious."
One amused follower asked: "How do you get Pete to agree to these," while another wrote: "It’s Pete over the shoulder at the end lol." Last year, Sam shared his baby plans for the future during a conversation with the Mirror. He said: "These years are going by so fast. When I'm 40 I definitely hope that I have a family. I want marriage and kids. We don't know exactly where life takes us and there are so many doors that could open.
"I would like a boy and a girl, to be honest. I probably want three or four. But Zara's in charge, she'll probably tell me!"
