KOURTNEY Kardashian has been slammed for her "performative" behavior in the wake of the chemical disaster in Ohio.

The 43-year-old came under fire for only acknowledging the toxic spill by resharing her friend's photo on Instagram without any caption.

In early February, a train carrying potentially hazardous chemicals derailed, causing a huge fire and chemical spill in East Palestine, Ohio.

Residents were evacuated as chemicals were released to prevent a giant explosion - but there are now fears over the lingering chemicals in the air, water, and soil.

Amid the chaos, Kourtney reposted her friend Steph Shepherd's photo of plumes of smoke coming from the train crash on her Instagram Story.

Stephanie shared a lengthy caption about the disaster in her "beloved home state of Ohio" and urged fans to sign a petition to declare the incident a "national emergency."

Kourtney failed to make any mention of Stephanie's pleas and simply shared the photo without a caption.

Critics slammed her on Reddit, with one writing: "This really do be the extent of their effort to act like they care.

"Not any actual news source or resources to help, no - a post from her employee."

Another added: "It’s Kourtney’s 'gotta act like I care & I’m not just shilling my crap blog & candy vitamins,' that is gross."

A third posted, "She's so performative."

Yet another user commented: "They live in mega-mansions with fake grass & pay people to think for them.

"Tiny violin, I guess."

The backlash comes after Kourtney and her husband Travis Barker, 47, were slammed for their "entitled" behavior while leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles last month.

The Hulu star and Blink-182 rocker came under fire for taking their glasses of wine with them to their car.

'ENTITLED' BEHAVIOR

The couple was seen wandering around the Beyond the Streets Beastie Boys art exhibit with their wine, before heading to a restaurant.

The duo - who were joined by Addison Rae, 22, and her boyfriend Omer Fedi - left the restaurant still holding their full glasses of wine.

Critics slammed Kourtney and Travis for not leaving their drinks at the gallery.

The KUWTK alum also came under fire for urging fans to buy a Poosh Sweetheart Supply Mailer Bundle for Valentine's Day that costs an eye-watering $999.

Included in the bundle are items such as a silk custom sleep dress, a candle, some chocolate bars, and a bottle of scalp serum.

There's also a Swarovski Millenia necklace, a Floracracy $175 gift card, and a four-pack of silk scrunchies.

Kourtney was also branded "out-of-touch" for promoting $48 tea in her Poosh hamper.
