Louise Thompson's two-year-old son had the most adorable reaction to her stoma bag.

The former Made In Chelsea star took to Instagram to share a sweet clip of Leo's reaction to her stoma after she underwent lifesaving surgery following a gruelling health battle. Louise, 34, revealed Leo was in awe of the "little grey bag" that rested on her stomach which allows waste to be removed from the body through the bowel into the bag.

Louise said that Leo has a "funny obsession" with the bag and she doesn't understand how he knows that the pouch is for "poo poo", joking that he's smarter than he looks. In the clip shared on her Instagram, Leo could be seen fiddling with the bag while saying: "Poo poo." Writing alongside her upload, Louise penned: "There are certainly many lessons we could learn from our children.

"My son has a really funny obsession with my ileostomy bag. I have no idea how he knows to say 'poo poo', but I guess he’s smarter than I thought. Isn't it wonderful how unaffected our children are by awkward and 'taboo' subjects? If only we could all be this non-judgmental… except when he points out a spot on my face in public and shouts 'boo boo'."

She added: "I guess boo boo and poo poo sound similar. The #stoma is a bit of a both. It's both an ouchy and a way to go to the loo. I'm sharing this off-the-cuff video that Ryan captured when trying to get a 'civilised outfit shot' for every person that messaged me to say that they haven't had the confidence to tell their friends and family they have a stoma…. Some of you for years. (There are thousands of you btw).

"Nothing to be ashamed of. Still the same human on the inside. I haven't had a personality transplant. I can still dress, walk and talk the same." Fans and friends have praised Louise's upload which has gained over 36,000 likes. One said: "This makes me so happy! He is your bestie forever. I love you and I am so proud of you, and how you are turning this into something positive. This is your calling my gorgeous friend."

A second penned: "What a wonderful little boy. You are still the same human inside! You haven’t had a personality transplant! And can still dress, walk and talk the same! You are a star & so very brave posting this on social media! I thank you for all the patients like you, I look after... I am a nurse."

Earlier this month, Louise, who has suffered multiple medical complications since becoming a mother for the first time in 2021, shared a video of herself showing the bag, which was attached to her stomach, and captioned the clip: "HOW DO I DISCLOSE THIS SORT OF NEWS?

"It's not exactly exciting like a big pregnancy or gender reveal announcement! Hey look I'm having a boy… Hey look I've got a stoma! So I guess I'll just stand here Proud in stature. With my new friend. Le bum bag that represents life And hopefully a better one. Isn't it bizarre that this little grey pouch is the price I pay for good health!"
