LaplandUK has announced when its highly sought after tickets will go on sale.

Passes to the wildly popular Christmas attraction will be released on March 18 at midday. The four and a half hour immersive event opens for a limited six week run in the build up to Christmas each year.

In recent times it has become so popular that the tickets sell out in a matter of hours. Many join the virtual queue for the chance to bag entry long before sales begin.

Lapland UK is now located in the depths of Whitmoor Forest on the Crown Estate, Ascot, although it had a previous home at Bewl Water in Kent. It has welcomed more than 1,000,000 visitors since opening in 2007, with some of the most notable families including the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Beckhams, Tom Hardy and Elton John.

Those who get tickets receive physical, freezable invitations for each child, personally inviting them to help Father Christmas in his magical homeland this year. Parents are encouraged to store these in their freezer, so as to present them to their young ones icy cold.

On their chosen date, they will take part in a series of activities including assisting the Toy Factory Elves to make a toy for Father Christmas’ Sleigh, decorating gingerbread with Mother Christmas, ice-skating, and the finale: an intimate and personalised visit to Father Christmas, who will present them with a beautiful husky toy.

LaplandUK offers a variety of food and drink, both in the Elven Bazaar at the beginning of the experience, and once guests reach the Elven Village, including gluten and dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options. Visitors can also stop by Pumpernickle’s Restaurant and Pixie Mixie’s Sweet Shop.

Complimentary parking and a souvenir photo are also included in the price of a LaplandUK ticket, with children under 12 months able to visit free of charge.

Guests will be able to join the virtual waiting room from 10am on 18 March. There they will wait until 12pm, whereupon each guest will have an equal chance and receive a randomly allocated place in the queue. Once the guest reaches position one in the queue, they will be granted access to the booking site, and will have 25 minutes to complete their booking.

Tickets will be available for purchase for dates spanning 9 November to 24 December. Prices for tickets will range from £60-£190pp depending on the chosen date, with more premium prices for weekends, and those closer to Christmas Eve.

Once the booking is complete, guests will receive an email confirmation, followed by personalised freezable invitations for each Small Folk, which will arrive by post.

You can find out more and get tickets on laplanduk.co.uk.

LaplandUK is a single-day event and there are no on-site overnight stays. The event is within easy train access, just one mile from Ascot Station, with taxi drop-off and free parking available on site. For those with longer journeys, there are multiple local hotels and Airbnb’s available.

Parts of the attraction, including the Elven Village, have wood chip floor covering, which can make moving around in a wheelchair challenging, especially with small casters. There is a specific pathway for wheelchair users to enter The Elven Village and to use the ice skating facilities. A full accessibility guide can be found .
