AN acclaimed Disney+ drama series, which had fans glued to their screens, is landing on BBC Two very soon.
The captivating eight-part series delves into a real-life family’s alleged role in creating one of America's biggest public health catastrophes.
Prepare to be blown away by the all-star cast of the limited series Dopesick, led by none other than Batman star Michael Keaton, who also produced the show alongside Empire’s Danny Strong.
The successful series, based on Roanoke author Beth Macy's book Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors, and the Drug Company that Addicted America, won two Emmys in 2022 and achieved many other notable awards.
The popular series investigates how one company allegedly "triggered the worst drug epidemic in American history".

The Hulu series synopsis for Dopesick reads: “The series takes viewers to the epicenter of America’s struggle with opioid addiction, from the boardrooms of Big Pharma, to a distressed Virginia mining community, to the hallways of the DEA.
“Defying all the odds, heroes will emerge in an intense and thrilling ride to take down the craven corporate forces behind this national crisis and their allies."
The series started on Hulu and became so successful that Disney+ obtained a license to start streaming it on their adult section.
Now, the hit show will land on BBC Two with a double bill at 10pm on May 28.
Episodes will also be available to stream after transmission on BBC iPlayer.
In 2022, after the show was released, renowned actor Michael received the title of Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for his role as Dr. Samuel Finnix.
As he accepted his award, Micheal said: “I'm the most fortunate person,"
While accepting his award, Keaton delivered a heartfelt speech, dedicating the prize to his sister, Pam, and late nephew, Michael.
Dopesick will land on BBC Two and iPlayer on May 28.
