Any shopping lovers will know the pain of waiting patiently for a parcel to arrive, as well as the sheer elation at receiving the notification that your all-important delivery is nearby.

Online shopping gives us a huge amount of convenience when we need something in a hurry, but unfortunately, our packages can sometimes go awry. Whether it's lost in the post, includes the wrong clothes or contains something seriously strange that you weren't expecting, a delivery fail can truly ruin your day.

One shopper headed to fast fashion favourite PrettyLittleThing to buy a new pair of ribbed leggings, but got far more than she bargained for when a rather gross surprise fell out of the parcel.

Taking to TikTok to share her troubling findings, the woman, only known as Grace, claims that she found a pair of knickers inside the leggings she bought from PLT.

Posted under the handle @gracieharper03, the shocking clip initially shows a rather crumpled pair of brown leggings on the floor, before Grace picks them up to show viewers the PLT label. The next snap then shows inside of the leggings, where a pair of grey knickers appear to be sitting in the gusset.

Gobsmacked by her find, Grace captioned the post "pretty little thing gave me an extra goodie" with three vomiting emojis and the hashtag #gross.

The fashion fan has yet to provide an update to her bizzaire find, but others have shared their disgust in the comments on the video.

One person joked the underwear was an "extra present for ya" while another horrified TikToker simply added "oh hell no".

PLT isn't the only fast fashion brand that has come under the spotlight for unusual additions to orders as of late. Another woman recently took to TikTok to reveal the 'disturbing' notes she received inside her Shein package that resulted in her calling the cops.

The video, posted by Amanda who is known as @michigansmiles84 on TikTok, shows her lifting out her newly purchased dress from the Shein packaging. As the frock unfurls several pieces of paper fall to the floor, all of which read: "You are going to die in this suit."

Amanda was so scared by the sinister sounding note that she wore gloves to open the package and reported her findings to the police.

In lighter news, a Boohoo shopper was left in hysterics after ordering a pair of £20 cargo trousers that turned out to be nearly five feet long. The customer shared hilarious clips of her trying the huge trousers on, leaving people in stitches as the pants were so long that they came up to her armpit.

Mhairi, a care worker, claims that there was a 'whole extra leg's space' at the bottom of the trousers which she had brought for an upcoming party.

She said: "I pulled them out and thought, 'Oh my God, these are gorgeous. I'm going to love these'. As I pulled them out of the bag and lifted them up, I thought, 'they're nearly as tall as me'.

PrettyLittleThing declined to comment.
