Tallulah Willis sweetly honoured her father Bruce Willis amid his heartbreaking dementia battle.
The Hollywood icon was diagnosed with the neurological condition aphasia in March 2022, as it was announced he would be stepping away from his lengthy acting career. Less than a year later, his family - including wife Emma Heming Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore - revealed in a statement that his condition had evolved into frontotemporal dementia. Since then, model Emma, who shares two children with the Die Hard star - Evelyn, 9, and Mabel, 12 - has become her husband’s primary carer, and has tirelessly raised awareness of the rare condition.
Emma joined forces with her stepdaughter Tallulah, 30, as they attended a special screening to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Quentin Tarantino’s classic movie Pulp Fiction, in which Bruce had a starring role. In the film, he played Butch Coolidge, and to honour her father who was missing from the red carpet event, Tallulah wore a baseball cap that simply read "Bruce". The Death Becomes Her star is also father to Rumer Willis, 35, and Scout Willis, 32, who he shares with ex-wife Demi.

Emma looked chic in a black Dior suit and black heels, which Tallulah was dressed in a similar style to her father back in the 1990s, as she rocked a pair of ripped jeans, a black blazer and a bright yellow t-shirt. They were joined at the opening night gala of the 2024 TCM Classic Film Festival by some of Bruce's Pulp Fiction co-stars, including John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, and Samuel L. Jackson, who also took part in a special conversation after the screening.
Breakthrough in dementia battle as HRT could 'slash risk of developing disease'During the Q&A session with the cast, host Ben Mankiewicz honoured Bruce by giving Emma and Tallulah a sweet shout out. "Bruce is great in this. Here in the audience tonight is Bruce's wife, Emma, and one of his daughters, Tallulah Belle Willis," he said, as the spotlight found the women sat in the audience.
The special Pulp Fiction event comes just weeks after Emma and Bruce celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. The couple got hitched in Turks and Caicos in March 2009, and the model took to social media to heap praise on her ailing husband. “We have two bright, fun and healthy daughters. We have a family unit that is built on mutual respect and admiration. And simply, I just love and adore the man I married. I’m so proud of what we have and continue to create,” she wrote, as she revealed their “union and connection is probably stronger than ever.”
