THE Apprentice 2023 winner Marnie Swindells has taken a savage swipe at new champion Rachel Woolford.

Last night Rachel was hired by Lord Alan Sugar after working hard for years to launch her boutique gym business.

The 28-year-old, who launched North Studio during Covid, has now secured the business mogul's £250,000 investment.

This marks the second consecutive year that a fitness entrepreneur has won the BBC show.

Last year Marnie claimed the top spot with her fitness business Bronx Boxing Club in south east London, which some may say could now put her at a disadvantage.

However, it appears that she isn't concerned about Lord Sugar's new partner being in a similar industry, as she doesn't view Rachel's idea as a "threat".

In a recent interview with Sky Casino, she explained: "Lord Sugar isn't shy of investing in the same industry. I think he can see different USPs and assets between me and Rachel.

"Most importantly, our distance in space. She's all the way up north and I'm in the south.

"Until we go global, which we will one day, we won't be any threat to that business and neither would hers vice versa.”

Since leaving the show, things have been looking bright for Marnie and for her business as she plans on expanding her gym to make it more accessible for everyone.

She told OK!: “Bronx, my boxing gym in South East London, will be opening a whole second floor.

"That’s actually where Lord Sugar’s investment is going.

"There’ll be a weights gym, a sauna, another boxing studio and a cafe.

“It'll enhance this idea that boxing is for everybody, which has been my mission from the start.”

With plans to further develop the gym, Marnie is set to earn even more money.

Out of all The Apprentice winners, she and Dr Leah Totton are the only two winners from the previous 10 seasons who are still working closely with Lord Alan Sugar.

Lord Sugar was appointed as a director of Bronx Boxing Limited in May 2023.
