There's nothing like starting your day with a delicious meal- and scrambled egg remains a breakfast staple thanks to its delicious flavour and ability to fill you up for hours.

The breakfast favourite tastes delightful alone or with accompaniments such as bacon, sausages, mushrooms, or tomatoes. But sometimes they can come out of the pan too sloppy or rubbery. Even the most confident home cooks can't perfect scrambled eggs like resturants or hotels. How do they do it? They are always so fluffy and cooked perfectly.

We decided to take inspiration from the professionals and try out a chef-approved recipe. The Fallow Restaurant in Fallow, London - a Michelin star hotspot - raked in over seven million views on TikTok after sharing their secret to the perfect scrambled egg breakfast. Reporter Lucy Marshall - who eats eggs every morning without fail - tested out the recipe to see if it is worth the hype.

Usually when I cook scrambled eggs they can end up too rubbery and don't have that light and fluffy texture I have often found when ordering the dish in a restaurant. After years of attempts to get it just right, I was fed up and knew it was time to change up my recipe.

My plan was to cook breakfast for two, so to start I gathered all the ingredients I needed - six eggs, butter, salt and pepper, crème fraîche, siracha sauce and some sourdough bread. I cracked six eggs into a large bowl - admittedly I was gutted when a small bit of shell fell into the mix and prayed this was not a sign for how the rest of my preparation was going to pan out. After pulling out the small piece of shell, the coast was clear and it was time to get whisking.
