Bake Off fans all have same complaint about ending of New Year specialThe mishap gave other celebrities the giggles, as they watched Jodie sprint away screaming.
Unfortunately for Jodie, her bakes weren't quite up to scratch and she narrowly lost the show to Spencer Matthews in the Stand Up To Cancer special.
She recently opened up about how she was concerned about viewers seeing her "unedited personality".
In an interview with Radio Times, she said: "Apart from interviews, I've never done anything where I'm myself on something."
"This is what makes me nervous, that you are yourself with a microphone and cameras on you. I have no control over that edit."
When asked how she felt about being out of her comfort zone, she said: "Yes, generally. I do really like it, but I would never put myself in a situation that was the celebrity version of something unless it was for charity".
It comes as Prue revealed she would be taking a break from the show
Prue Leith will not appear on The Great Celebrity Bake Off in the summer of 2024 due to charity commitments.
A source said: “Prue absolutely loves working on Bake Off but filming two series a year can be punishing on top of her other commitments.
“She has already filmed the normal series, which will air this year but she will not appear on the celebrity version.

“She will turn 85 next year, so it’s not surprising that she wants to take time off.”
Prue replaced Mary Berry on Bake Off in 2017.
Her role on the show helped her crack America, with Prue admitting she was not well known there before.
She said: “Paul helped me get the job. I know that they auditioned a lot of younger people to be his partner.”
Channel 4 bosses are now scouting for a replacement to star alongside Paul Hollywood — with Nigella Lawson a favourite.
Prue, who was made a Dame in 2021 for her services to food, broadcasting and charity, admits she has given up breakfast and lunch to stay in shape.
She said: “Cake is delicious. I only have a teaspoon of each.
A spokesman for Bake Off creator Love Productions said: “Prue will be stepping back from The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer.”
