If there’s one thing Millie Mackintosh is going to do on Instagram, it’s keep it real. The former Made in Chelsea star is known for her honest and hilarious looks into real life as a mum of two, as well as sharing her beauty secrets with her fans.

Recently, Millie shared a video in which she mentions how people are always asking her how she keeps her skin wrinkle-free. Her video might have been tongue in cheek (she concludes by simply saying: “Botox”), but during the vid she’s also seen using several skincare tools on her face to help maintain her wrinkle-free complexion between appointments, including the NuFace Trinity Facial Toning Device, (was £339).

Despite her brutal honesty about relying on Botox to keep her skin smooth and youthful, fans were intrigued by exactly which devices she was using, with one asking: “What is that contraption you are using please?” Other followers were quick to answer their question, with one saying: “It looks like a NuFACE, followed by a LYMA laser, which I’m seriously considering, they look excellent.”

Another chimed in: “The NuFace is AMAZING!!! And not too spenny.” The facial toning device has specialised microcurrents which mimic a non-invasive face lift without the downtime.

It emits extremely low voltage electrical currents which mirror your body’s own, boosting the production of elastin and giving it a collagen-rich appearance and giving your face a lifted, sculpted look in minutes. If you’re new to microcurrent devices, you can snap up this NuFace Trinity+ Sandy Rose Starter Kit, (was £385), on Cult Beauty, which gives you everything you need to get started.

As well as the NuFace, Millie also used a the LYMA Laser (Blue) System Starter Kit, (was £1999), which another commented said they were very intesterested in getting before they realised how pricey the at-home treatment was. It might be expensive, but the laser-based skincare treatment is loved by celebs like Abbey Clancy thanks to its amazing results.

However, if the laser treatment is out of your budget, Millie’s followers offered another alternative. “I have a Theraface, which is v similar and I love it. £375 online at John Lewis, but they had a deal on it when I bought mine and I saved a decent amount. Might be worth looking out for another?” wrote one fan, whilst someone else responded: “They have the Theraface version on sale for £300 at BeautyBay atm.”

The TheraFace PRO has been slashed to from its usual price of £375, and actually includes eight different settings including red, blue and infrared LED light technology. This does differ from the LYMA’s laser-based light therapy, however it also includes a microcurrent head, giving you a Millie-approved skincare routine all in one handy device.

Space saving, time saving and money saving? That’s definitely our kind of beauty device!
