Kerry Katona revealed she's been having a tough time with her mental health, even having a "severe panic attack".

The 43-year-old star says she's not sure why she's feeling so anxious but wants others who feel the same to talk about it. Speaking in her latest column, Kerry also shared her opinion on Kate Middleton's controversial Mother's Day Photoshop.

Speaking about her health issues, she said: "I've been feeling pretty rubbish lately and I don't really know the reason. This week was really hard because I had a really bad panic attack and felt so anxious. Sometimes I'm okay, doing my wellness stuff and saying positive things to myself, and then suddenly, I'm not okay.

"Maybe it's because I might be going through premenopause, I'm just not sure," the star added.

Writing for her column on OK!, she said: "When I have weeks like this, I get worried that I'm not being the best mum, which just makes everything feel worse. I've been really busy driving my kids around, even though I don't feel like going out much these days. I went to the doctor and they suggested I might need therapy to deal with some stuff.

"It's okay not to be okay sometimes, and I think it's important to talk about it when you're having a tough time."

Last month, Kerry detailed her "embarrassing" sweat struggles while out in public during a conversation about early menopause. In a candid chat with GB News, the former Atomic Kitten singer took part in a studio debate about new guidance from the Equality and Human Rights Commission which says that employers must make “reasonable adjustments” for working women dealing with menopause, which usually happens between the ages of 45 and 55.

Speaking openly about her situation, the star said: “Honest to god, at this very moment in time it’s like the River Thames down my top. I am sweating so much. I'm 43 and it's embarrassing. People don't understand what we women actually have to go through. The back of my knees are dripping.

‌“Now I don't know if it's from the hot coffee or I'm actually at that stage in my life where it is so embarrassing to be sat here and you're dripping, sweating.”

Elsewhere in her magazine column, Kerry gave her take on the Kate Middleton situation. The Princess of Wales hasn't been seen in weeks and sparked controversy when she shared a badly-edited picture with her three children to mark Mother's Day.

Kerry admitted 'couldn't understand why' Kate would have needed to edit the Mother's Day photo that caused a stir on the internet. She said the 'Photoshop scandal' made 'everyone more suspicious' of what was happening with the Royal Family.
