JAMES Lock has broken his silence on his romance with ex-girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou after they were spotted on a cosy date last week.
The Towie star, who reunited with brunette beauty Yaz on the new series of Ex on the Beach, admitted the door has been left open for another go at their relationship.
The former couple were spotted looking cosy just days ago as they enjoyed a romantic date night at a swanky restaurant.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun about reuniting with his ex on the show, James said: "It started off well, but it didn't end so well - but we're good friends now".
He laughed: "She's obviously begging to get back with me but I can't.

"We're on good terms - all jokes aside, I don't want bad vibes, I don't hate anyone, if someone is negative in my life I cut them out.
"But I'm always polite, I've been brought up they way to always to a gentleman and that's the truth.
"Sometimes you're in a difficult environments - you go into the villa and there is a lot of animosity there but if you conduct yourself as a gentleman and a good person, you can't ever lose in life."
James, 37, said the pair have grown close again since reuniting on the Paramount+ reality show and said he was tunnel vision for Yaz.

"That's the thing, when I lost her, I lost a best friend.
"She's back in my life - I'm single, she's single."
When asked if they are planning to get back together, James replied: "If she gets me a big ring out...in this day and age it's down to the women. If she wants me, she's got to come and get me.
"The door is never closed with Yaz, she's a great person and if I was ever going to settle with someone, she ticks all the boxes.
"But a lot has happened and in this industry, as much as I love it, it creates a lot of problem.

"A picture tells a thousand words and sometimes things are made bigger than what it is.
"Truthfully, all the girls are good looking girls. The only reason I came back to the show was for Yaz."
Back in 2018, James and Yazmin quit TOWIE to save their relationship.
At the time, a show spokesperson said: “It was mutually decided that James and Yazmin would not film the final two episodes of this series [in 2018], allowing them time to work on their relationship.”
Yazmin made the decision to take a break during filming earlier that season due to her ongoing battle with depression.
They broke up in 2019 when Yazmin accused James of partying with other girls in a hotel room but then patched things up to give their love another shot.
Yet the pair eventually split in 2021 after having a row while in Dubai for a work trip.
Yazmin, who was supposed to film for Celeb Ex On The Beach last year, sensationally pulled out of the series.
According to an insider, the star was completely thrown off guard by the arrival of her famous ex-boyfriend, 36-year-old James Lock.
A source exclusively told The Sun: "Yaz knew filming Celeb Ex On The Beach would be challenging as the whole purpose of the show is to create drama.
"But within days of James arriving, she realised she couldn't cope with being in the villa with him and decided to leave."
After they broke up, James dated Love Island's Megan Barton-Hanson and an unnamed US reality star.
James recently ended his relationship with the American star.
Yazmin previously dated TikTok star Harrison Sullivan who is known as HSTikkyTokky online.
