Bruce Willis' wife Emma Heming Willis has paid the ultimate tribute to her "true gentleman" husband as she celebrates turning 69.
The Hollywood icon's loving partner has gushed over her man in an emotional tribute on Instagram alongside an image of him hugging his grandaughter Louetta. Bruce is seen beaming in the image as the tot grips to him.
The image echoes Emma's words in which she calls the Die Hard star's arms the "safest place in this whole wide world". In her touching tribute, she wrote: "Just like you, we simply adore him. What you might not know, but maybe you could imagine, that being wrapped in his arms is the safest place in this whole wide world.

The touching comments were met with love from Emma's followers, who took the time to wish the star a happy birthday too. One user penned: "So elegantly put ! sending love to you and your beautiful family . Especially Bruce Happy Birthday."
Emma's words come as she continues to be open about the star's health issues following his dementia diagnosis. She continues to advocate for people to check in on caregivers as well as those with dementia following Bruce's diagnosis with frontotemporal dementia.

Along with Bruce's ex-wife Demi Moore and their kids, the whole family has been rallying around him since his diagnosis was official in February last year.
"Caregivers are our unsung heroes," she penned on her social media account last month. "We need to check in on them just as much as check in on the person they are caring for. @iamtylewis is so much to so many in her family and also to those in this community. You're doing God's work ty. Keep inspiring and make a little time for you."
Bruce and Emma initially met through a mutual friend and are said to have very quickly became besotted with one another. In 2009 the happy couple tied the knot at a civil ceremony in Beverly Hills. Among their wedding guestlist at their ceremony was Demi Moore and her then-husband Aston Kutcher. Bruce and Demi's three daughters also came to their dad's wedding.
