Rochelle Humes and husband Marvin have confessed they couldn't "stop crying" as they waved their daughter off.

The This Morning host, 34, and JLS star, 39, said goodbye to their 11-year-old daughter Alaia-Mai as she headed on a school trip to France. Rochelle told her followers there was an "emotional Humes household" as Alaia-Mai's siblings Valentina, seven, and Blake, three, were also in tears.

The mum-of-three confessed: "We have had so many tears this morning and I have only literally just stopped crying. We have just waved Alaia off on the school coach, she's going to France until Friday evening. I will never get used to this, like ever, ever, ever. She was fine and she was with her bestie and they have a matching tracksuit on and matching hairstyles and everything. Then she sat on the coach and I could see through the window she was crying."

Rochelle shared Valentina will find it hard without her older sister as they share a bedroom. She added: "Valle was crying going into school then Blake was crying. Everyone's going to be split up the next few days. So yeah, it's been an emotional Humes household this morning. Because I didn't want her to see I was crying I held it together, I was like 'you're fine darling, you're fine' like really trying not to and as soon as it pulled away like ugly ugly tears.

"Valle and Alaia share a room, they share a bed in fact. Like they're super close so I think little Valle's going to feel it this week isn't she. So yeah it's been a full on little morning." Rochelle recently opened up on her marriage to Marvin, after the showbiz couple wed in 2012 at a lavish bash at Blenheim Palace.

The Saturdays star say the pair support each other, agreeing that "only one of them can shine at a time" as working parents of three. She admitted: "If I’m p****d off, I’m telling him; if he’s p****d off, he’s telling me. We’re not mind readers. We know we love each other and all of that…But there’s a lot that comes in the middle of that – three kids, work, life.

"We’ve always had this rule that we can’t both shine at once. So, if he’s on tour, I’m gonna pull back…I’m on the school run – because we always make sure it’s one of us on the school run – and working in the school hours," reports Women's Health UK magazine. Rochelle and Marvin met at the peak of their music careers when The Saturdays and JLS were performing to sold-out crowds across the country.

Speaking about how they met, the singer told The Mirror: "We met actually when I was younger, when I was probably about 16. Nothing [romantic]. Fast forward a few years on, he was in JLS, I was in The Saturdays. We were at a club, and they had put all the bands together. I went to the toilet and my bag was on the chair. He took my phone out of my bag, called himself from my phone and got my number." She added, laughing: 'It was weird. In a creepy, restraining order way.'' The couple got together soon after, but then split eight months later before reuniting.
