Traitors star announces 'miracle' pregnancy after seven heartbreaking tragedies

BBC's The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton has announced her 'miracle' pregnancy after enduring seven miscarriages and multiple rounds of fertility treatment. The Warwickshire-based recruitment manager, who appeared in the second series of the psychological reality show, shared the joyous news on Instagram.

She wrote: "So I have been keeping a secret in a few of my pics ! ! The true glory is in my final pic!!! After seven miscarriages over my 20s, failed Insemination, failed IVF I was told It probably won't happen for you. These words for a lot of women, are the words you never want to hear! Yet someone decided I deserved a wish answering and I am now going to have my own little miracle."

"It was a rough start (never knew sickness could be so bad) but I'm starting to feel normal again! ! I wanted to share this with all my family, friends and #thetraitors fan base! ! It's been a shock to say the least but the most welcomed surprise ever! ! ! ".

She accompanied her heartfelt message with several photos showcasing her growing baby bump and the scan of her unborn child. Fellow Traitors host Claudia Winkleman responded with love heart emojis, as did season one contestant Kieran Tompsett, who wrote: "Amazing congratulations darling."

In January, The Traitors stars managed to put the game behind them as they attended a wild wrap party for the show. The hit BBC programme returned for its second season, leaving viewers gripped. They all played the game in the hopes of taking home the huge prize fund as either Traitors or Faithfuls. Viewers were treated to a jaw-dropping final as Traitor Harry Clark won £95,000.

Mollie Pearce was left in tears after she admitted she wrote down his name first but then scrubbed it out and decided to choose Jaz. "I really trusted him. He played an excellent game, so fair play to him," she said as she broke down in tears. However, the pair reunited as the whole Traitors cast attended a wrap party where they all let their hair down.

Speaking to the Mirror after the tense final, Mollie admitted she was "staying off" social media as she knew it would be "rough". She told us: "But yeah, I'm hoping that it will pass. I think it's very easy for the public to say that I was stupid and stuff like that but at the end of the day I'm 21 and I've got emotions - what could I do? I think people forget that you're human when they're watching it on TV, but we do all have feelings so people should be more cautious with their comments."

Opening up about who reached out to who to rekindle her friendship with Harry, she explained: "It was a mutual thing - we spoke after. We had quite a big laugh, to be honest. You know, you are good friends and someone had to win and we weren't on the same team. It was either going to be me or him, so it would only be on the opposite foot if I didn't change my vote."

Speaking about his massive win, Harry said: "I just won 95 grand! Mollie basically is the reason I am here, I need to gain her trust back, I don’t know if that will be possible, but I am going to try my hardest I promise you that. My family know I am a good guy, to everyone else, if you don’t think I am a good guy – I promise you I am. I came here for my family, my loved ones, they are my motivation, they are the reason I go on in life, and I can’t wait to be able to ring them and be like ‘I’ve just won 95 grand!’ It makes me so excited.

"I feel like I can breathe, cause I am me again, I am Harry again… I underestimated this massively, you come here and there are 22 amazing people, and from the off I have been a Traitor, I’ve had enough of being naughty and being bad because that was next level!"
