Throughout the years, she has continued to gain a legion of fans with success in the Latin and American music market.

Her international hit Waka Waka was chosen as the official anthem for the 2010 World Cup and she joined Jennifer Lopez in 2020 for the Super Bowl’s halftime show.

Following her birthday last month, Shakira’s youthful looks became the topic of discussion on Twitter.

“She's so stunning,” one person wrote. “How does she manage to look so young?”

“I swear she is reverse aging, always younger every time I see her,” another said.

“Shakira is aging in reverse. She looks younger than she did 10 years ago,” a third chimed in.

“People always talk about how fire and youthful JLo looks, but Shakira really hasn't aged…like at all,” another added.

When asked who’s the sexiest woman alive during an interview on Power 106, Canadian rapper Tory Lanez named Shakira.

The Colombian singer was ranked the ninth sexiest by FHM magazine in 2002, which was the same year she appeared on their cover.

Shakira has two children and has just released her new album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran [Women No Longer Cry].

We’ve taken a deep dive into her anti-aging secrets to find out how she stays youthful amid her busy life.

She shared the importance of taking supplements for plump, youthful skin before applying any cosmetics.

“For my face, I use vitamin C because it stimulates collagen,” Shakira said.

“It also brightens your skin if you have little spots.”

She uses a vitamin C serum and vitamin E product from the pharmacy to hydrate her dry skin.

Also, she wears sunscreen every day and can’t go without it, especially in the summer.

“I like BabyGanic Sunscreen Spray because it's all-natural, waterproof, gentle, and it really stays,” she told Allure.

“And La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 because it's paraben-free.”

“I also think it’s really important to remove your makeup every night and I use a cleansing brush (or even a washcloth) to remove any impurities,” she told InStyle.

BabyGanics Sunscreen Spray is available for $10 on Amazon.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Zinc Oxide sunscreen SPF 50 is priced at $37.

MAKEUP

Shakira has admitted that she thinks she looks “better” now than 10 years ago as she’s stopped wearing heavy makeup.

She prefers a natural look that involves using an eyelash curler but no mascara and only subtle lip color.

“I like to use Tarte foundation because it's oil-free and waterproof and doesn't have any of the other bad stuff,” she told Allure.

“I don't put it all over my face — just in certain areas.

“I also love Origins Pinch Your Cheeks. It's water-based, so it doesn't clog your pores and makes you look rosy.”

Tarte Amazonian Clay 16-Hour Full Coverage Foundation is available in a huge selection of colors for $42 at Sephora.

Origins Pinch Your Cheeks gel blush is currently unavailable to buy online.

"After so many years in front of the camera, sometimes, I think I look better now than 10 years ago when I wore so much," she told InStyle.

"It’s important to let your own skin shine through."

HAIR

Shakira’s hairstylist Cynthia Alvarez took to Instagram ahead of the singer’s El Dorado World Tour.

She showed a collection of curl and anti-frizz products ready to style Shakira’s hair for the stage.

Dove Smooth + Shine Heat Protectant Spray is available for $16 from Walmart.

Davines OI Oil is sold for $51 on the brand’s website.

According to Women’s Health, Cynthia used a 1/4” curling iron to touch up the “lazy” pieces among Shakira’s natural curls.

She used a wide-toothed comb to unravel tangles without making her curls frizzy.

Cynthia told Hola! that she tries to avoid using products that contain sulfates, silicone, and parabens.

She uses a heat protectant spray before styling all of her clients and encourages the use of SPF if you have color-treated or lightened hair.

“You need to rotate in nourishing leave-in masks, hair oil, scalp care, and other treatments to ensure your hair stays strong and can keep up with your fiercest looks, especially if your hair is naturally dry, textured, or frizz-prone,” she said.

FITNESS

Shakira has worked with fitness trainer Anna Kaiser for a decade to stay in shape while juggling shows, music videos, and philanthropy work in Columbia.

Anna revealed that the singer is committed to exercising six days a week and sessions can vary from dance intervals, and HIIT to circuit training.

“It is really important both for your mind and your body to consistently switch up your workouts so that you keep your head in the game, you don't get bored,” Anna told E News.

“And you have a workout that's going to work for you that day for what you need to accomplish that day.”

The exercise expert told Vogue that she wants Shakira to have minimal breaks during their Monday morning 90-minute cardio sessions.

Long-time belly dancer Shakira likes to put her spin on the sessions.

“She will make some of the movements her own, adding flair with her hips,” Anna said.

“Even though it’s super intense, she’s still having fun!”

DIET

Anna revealed to Shape that Shakira keeps her energy levels high by eating small freshly prepared meals throughout the day.

“Breakfast could be eggs or avocado with olive oil, tomato, sea salt, then a smoothie, berries, plant protein, sometimes greens or green powder,” Anna told E News.

“Then for lunch, we have fish and fresh vegetables or a salad with lots of color.”

She said the singer will have a vegetable soup with a side of cucumbers with lemon and salt midafternoon.

Dinner can be fish or pork chops with vegetables.
