Chelsea owner Todd Boehly's woes show no signs of letting up as the under-fire Blues chief he went viral for picking his nose while watching the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The American sports industry tycoon appeared to forget where he was momentarily as he took in the MLB season opener versus the San Diego Padres over in South Korea. The 50-year-old, who co-owns the Dodgers, was caught during an embarrassing moment for him as he watched on from the stands in Seoul City.

Seemingly unaware of the cameras in the arena picking up the mortifying incident during the coverage of the game - disgruntled fans soon offered up some amusing reactions on social media. First posted by a user on X, the clip of Boehly's nauseating act was captioned: "My man with the double booger meal at Padres Dodgers game lol."

Seeing the funny side of the Dodgers co-owner's indiscretions, another baseball enthusiast joked: "The double booger meal probably cost $19.87 at Dodger Stadium," while one person appeared shocked, commenting: "This is as disturbing as it is funny. I guess the stadium food wasn’t to his liking."

At the time of writing, the video had some 753k views on X, as the baseball community discussed a surprise moment during the first game of the campaign. Clearly left bilious by what they had witnessed during the coverage, another fan added: Damn that’s f***** nasty!!"

Despite this surprising moment during proceedings, it turned into a largely successful venture to South Korea for the businessman as the team from Los Angeles triumphed 5-2 on Wednesday. Still, the Dodgers were brought right back down to earth as they fell to a 15-11 loss the next day.

Back in London, it appears that Boehly is not far from the thoughts of fans at his other team, Chelsea, either - as unrest continues to build towards Clearlake after nearly two years in charge. Despite an outlay of over £1 billion in transfer fees, the Blues currently are on course to finish in midtable in the Premier League for a second term running.

As was first reported by The Telegraph, Blues fans have also resorted to a sticker campaign to express their displeasure at the current state of play at Stamford Bridge. They depict club chiefs Behdad Eghbali and Jose Feliciano alongside Boehly - with the trio mocked-up to resemble clowns.

In addition, the cartoon drawings were purportedly accompanied by the captions 'Clownlake, three ring circus' and 'get them out, we want our Chelsea back'. According to the report, these stickers were first spotted in the ground for Chelsea's FA Cup quarter-final clash with Leicester over the weekend.

This latest example of unrest within the fanbase at the west London club comes after manager Mauricio Pochettino and Boehly were subject to jeers from supporters in a recent clash versus Brentford. To compound the ill-feeling towards senior club figures, the Chelsea Supporters' Trust also wrote a letter addressing concerns.

Admitting discontent towards the ownership could ramp up, they wrote: "Unless the situation improves, this seems likely to manifest itself in more targeted chanting, especially at televised games, and quite possibly more organised, overt, and impactful forms of protest by some sections of the fanbase."
