BILLIONAIRE philanthropist MacKenzie Scott has made several donations to several charities over the years.
Scott is the ex-wife of former Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos, and is ranked fifth on the Forbes 2022 list of biggest lifetime givers.

In June 2021, MacKenzie Scott said she identified 286 high-impact and underfunded organizations in a self-published article on Medium.
Scott donated over $2.7 billion in gifts that year to organizations that contribute to arts, higher education, and ending discrimination.
She has contributed to more than 780 organizations, bringing her total donations to $16.5 billion, as of March 2024, according to Forbes.

Her previous donation to Habitat for Humanity International and 84 of its US affiliates of $436 million, was reported by The Associated Press.
Jonathan Reckford, Habitat for Humanity International’s CEO, told the outlet: "We could not be more excited to get the gift at a time when, in some ways, the state of housing affordability is the worst that it has been in modern times."
In October 2022, Scott continued her donation spree by giving the Girl Scouts of the USA and 29 of its local branches $84.5 million.
"Her support of our organization means honestly just as much as the donation," Sofia Chang, CEO of GSUSA, said, via NPR.
The donation is reportedly the largest individual donation the organization has ever seen.
In 2023, she continued her donations by giving $2.1 billion to 360 organizations she says, "could use more allies," on her Yield Giving database.
In March 2024, Scott announced that she was donating $640 million to 361 nonprofits.
More than 6000 nonprofits responded to an open call when applications for the grant opened.
