A new book penned by the Hairy Bikers has shot straight to the top of the book charts just weeks after the death of hugely popular Dave Myers.
The Hairy Dieters' Fast & Fresh was only published on Thursday but the £12.99 recipe book is already number one in the Amazon charts. It was one of the last projects the cooking duo worked on together. In an emotional post online, 57-year-old Si King looked visibly moved in a video where he announced the release of the cookbook that his buddy Dave was "so proud of".
He added: "It's a lovely book and we had the greatest of joy working on it together. Dave was very proud of it, so here it is." He added to fans: "Thank you for your continued support" which "doesn't go unnoticed". He ended his heartfelt message, saying: "Lots of love and I hope you enjoy Fast and Fresh."
Buyers of the book are told: "The Hairy Dieters' Fast and Fresh is the brand-new collection of tasty, easy-to-prep, low-calorie dishes from the nation's favourite cooking duo, The Hairy Bikers. Inspired by the ingredients of the Mediterranean, Si King and Dave Myers have developed over 80 delicious and nutritious recipes to help you move away from processed foods and ready meals to make the most of the fresh ingredients available throughout the year."

Fast & Fresh has topped the book chartsThe publication of the book comes as new papers reveal that Dave's widow has taken control of his fortune following his death in February. He ran a firm called Sharpletter Ltd with wife Liliana. And the most recent annual accounts filed this year for the firm show it's worth £1.4m.

She has now taken over the outfit as the person with significant control following Dave's tragic passing from cancer. And a firm called Hairy Bikers Ltd which he ran with co-host and best pal Si King had assets of £250,000 at the time of his death. Lilliana has now taken Dave's half-share in the company.
She posted a touching tribute to her "wonderful, brave man" following his death from cancer at the age of 66. "Rest in peace, my love," Liliana Myers wrote on Facebook. "My wonderful, brave man! Till next time we meet!" Tributes flooded in from those who worked with Myers and his TV partner Si, and who they met on their motorcycle trips around the UK.
The pair travelled the country and the world over two decades to make much-loved shows about the food and people they found.
Their first series, 2006's The Hairy Bikers' Cookbook, was partly filmed in Romania - where Myers met his future wife, who was working in a hotel.
Earlier this week, Si gathered with Liliana, Dave's widow, and their family and friends for a heartfelt tribute night to celebrate his life. Si remarked about the touching night, posting photos of the gathering: "We had a wonderful evening reminiscing about our dear friend and the room was filled with love as you'd expect, Dave would have loved it. Thank you to all that could make it, you made it very special."
