David Potts is a television personality who was born on May 5 1993 in Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Prior to finding fame, David worked as a holiday rep at popular resorts in Ibiza and Magaluf.

Why is David Potts famous?
David found fame after appearing on ITV2 shows Ibiza Weekender and Kavos Weekender.
He first joined Ibiza Weekender in February 2016 and started out as a receptionist on the show.
David then got a promotion to head rep on the series.
The shows, which follow contestants in their twenties as they spend the weekend at a hotel resort, were axed after a decade on air in 2023.

When did David Potts win Celebrity Big Brother?
David was confirmed as a Celebrity Big Brother housemate in February 2024.
The show, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, launched on ITV on March 4 and came to a close on March 22, with David crowned the winner.
Speaking on spin-off show Celebrity Big Brother Late and Live following his victory, David gushed: "I've had such a good time, the housemates were so amazing and I just felt like we made our own fun."
Show bosses scored a number of big names for the first series of Celebrity Big Brother in six years, including former This Morning host Fern Britton and Heartstopper actor Bradley Riches.

He was in the crowd for David's CBB triumph along with their mother, who was in tears as she watched her son beat out the likes of Fern Britton and Colson Smith for the top spot.
Matthew is an engaged father-of-one who works as a professional football physiotherapist at Huddersfield Town.
