Shoppers will no longer be able to get their hands on the Mexican Fiery Sweet Chipotle Sensations.

The spicy treat was launched as part of the company's Crispy Thins range in 2015.

"First the deep, smoky flavour of chipotle chilli gives way to sweet pimento and onion, before finishing with a spicy, lingering heat," the flavour description reads.

One fan took to X, formerly Twitter, to ask: "Any plans to bring back the Mexican Fiery Sweet Chipotle crisps yet?

"Even as a limited edition?"

Sealing the fate of many, the company replied: "No comebacks planned, but we're always listening!"

A second user quipped: "Bring them back please!

"I'll remortgage my house!"

A third pleaded: "Bring back Fiery Sweet Chipotle please!!"

A Walkers spokesperson said: "We said goodbye to our Walkers Mexican Fiery Sweet Chipotle Sensations more than a decade ago, but we're glad fans still have fond memories of the flavour.

"Continuously evolving our portfolio enables us to focus our efforts on making more of the flavours people love the most."

In October Walkers axed its hugely popular Worcester sauce flavour and fans claimed "their sandwiches were ruined."

Fans also said goodbye to Max Fiercely Flamin Hot crisps in November as well as the Beef and Onion flavour.

In December Walkers discontinued its Sensations Regal Lamb and Mint crisps.

It comes as retro food fans will be pleased to know that some of their favourite "nostalgic" snacks are back on the shelves.

Most people have a favourite chocolate bar or crisp flavour they would love to see return - and we can now reveal some that have.

Whether it is a biscuit that reminds you of your grandma or your favourite sweet that is missing from the tin, we all have something we would love to taste again.

Old-fashioned foods and sweets have started to grow in popularity in recent years, with some retailers specialising in sourcing some of our favourite oldies.

If you look online there are several independent online retailers who do this, and sometimes it is worth having a look on Amazon too.

Everyone's favourite discounter B&M is known for offering up snacks and sweets that have not been seen for a while.

Just recently the retailer had sweet-toothed shoppers rushing to get their hands on a bag of discontinued "Millions fusion bites".
