The 51-year-old actress was photographed looking effortlessly chic as she walked alongside her husband Benji Madden, mere days after their surprising baby news. The couple were spotted leaving The West Wing star Rob Lowe’s extravagant 60th bash - which saw stars including Gwyneth Paltrow, Katy Perry and Ellen Degeneres join to celebrate the actor’s milestone birthday.
Cameron was wearing a classy black outfit and accessorised her simple look with gold jewellery while wearing her golden locks in her signature side parting. The Holiday star was spotted carrying a black clutch as well as a mystery brown box and a fistful of blossom tree branches.

Meanwhile, 45-year-old Benji matched his wife’s colour scheme, also wearing all black, and opted for a baseball cap to finish off his look. The duo were photographed deep in thoughtful conversation as they left the star-studded party to get back to their new baby boy.

Sharing the exciting news with their fans, the couple wrote in a joint post: "We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden. He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here! For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures- but he’s really cute. We are feeling so blessed and grateful. Sending much love from our fam to yours. Best wishes and Good Afternoon!!”
The famous couple, who met at a summertime barbeque in 2014, also share four-year-old daughter Raddix together. An insider previously told People that Cameron felt “beyond lucky” to become a second-time mum at 51. They said: “They were always hoping for a second baby, because they love being parents.” Describing Cameron’s “long journey to motherhood”, the source said: “She feels beyond lucky to now have two children.”
