Piers Morgan has once again praised the Princess of Wales.

Kate addressed the public in a video message shared on Friday (March 22, 2024) and sent shockwaves throughout the world after weeks of conspiracy theories left many on the edge of their seats.

In her message, the Princess of Wales revealed that, despite her "major abdominal surgery" going well, she'd been diagnosed with cancer after post-operative tests and she is now in the early stages of treatment.

Mere days after her emotional announcement, The Sun noticed that Kate Middleton's message had had an overall impact as she seemingly raised awareness around cancer - and Pierswas nothing but pleased about it.

Taking to X, The Sun's royal editor Matt Wilkinson penned: "Since the Princess of Wales made her cancer announcement: - 15% rise in visits to Cancer Research website - Highest MacMillan Cancer site hits since COVID - NHS cancer page new visitor ever 3 seconds - NHS Professor: 'Talking about cancer saves lives.'"

This prompted Piers to respond with his own post on the social media platform as he praised the Princess for speaking out by writing: "The Kate effect - amazing."

As the world continues to react in the wake of Kate's shock cancer announcement, Piers also hit out at people who had shared ludicrous health conspiracies about her in a scathing statement shared on X, shortly after the Princess' brave message.

"People on here shrieking ‘LEAVE KATE ALONE!’ when they have spent the past few weeks spewing insane conspiracy theories about her is beyond parody", the former Good Morning Britain host angrily commented.

He concluded his tirade with: "Shut up, you shameless hypocrites" but, unfortunately for him, his post wasn't well received as many pointed out that he had taken part in the conspiracy by criticising Buckingham Palace's lack of communication.

"I’ve been told some stuff that, if even half of it is true, it’s pretty alarming what is happening. I don’t know what to believe, nor do any of us – we’re not there", he'd said during a recent episode of his YouTube show Uncensored.

Although he noted that Kate "could be fine and doing well", Piers added that the Palace's attempts at quashing rumours about her health and well-being "got it wrong." To make matters worse, Piers added fuel to the online fire by theorising that "the Palace could be hiding something" about Kate Middleton.

Despite her message and a public apology from Blake Lively, Kate has failed to put a complete stop to the conspiracy theories as many TikTok users are convinced her video was AI generated.

In a statement shared on Saturday, a Kensington Palace representative revealed that Kate Middleton and her husband, Prince William, "are both enormously touched by the kind messages from people here in the U.K., across the Commonwealth and around the world in response to Her Royal Highness’ message."

Despite initially being rumoured to return into the spotlight by Easter, it was announced on Sunday that Kate and William will not be attending church at Windsor on Easter Sunday as she remains determined to have privacy in this difficult time.
