BBC Morning Live host Michelle Ackerley has been flooded with support after sharing a post detailing her family's grief.
The TV presenter was marking six years of the passing of her father in an extremely poignant message.

She confessed that she had been reflecting on memories after admitting that the grief continues to still her her years on.
Writing emotionally on Instagram, the star said: "6 years ago today my dad passed away.

"Grief is a process that certainly hits you in different ways at different times of your life.
"I’m thinking of anyone on their own journey with grief today."
Michelle went on to detail her fond memories of the specific photo as she told her fans it was one of the most memorable days of her childhood.
She continued: "I’ve posted this photo as it makes me smile. I vividly remember this day as a kid.
"My brother and I having a massive water fight with our dad. Me thinking I’d protect my afro by wearing a shower cap & helmet."
The 39 year old received plenty of support from both her followers and her celebrity pals.
Fellow Morning Live star Gaby Roslin wrote under the heartfelt post: "Sending you the biggest hugs and big love too my lovely."
Narinder Kaur added: "I'm so sorry for your loss...losing a dad is life changing. You are doing great super star."
Olympic hockey player Sam Quek added: "Big love."

Michelle is currently on a break from her presenting duties with Morning Live but has managed to keep busy working on Crimewatch Live.
The morning talk show was temporarily pulled off air for a seasonal break but Michelle wasted no time in getting to work on its replacement programme.
Michelle is a regular on BBC Morning Live
