The streaming giant's users have been complaining about several changes Disney+ has been making to their platform.

DISNEY+ users joked that they know why the streamer has raised subscription prices following the recent  "ridiculous" hike.

The streamer’s fans were fuming after it was announced that premium subscriptions would be increased.

The change took place on March 24, and since then, Disney+ users have taken to social media and sarcasitcally penned their theories about why they think prices have been raised.

Taking to X(Twitter), one user of the steaming service posted a picture of the new Disney logo next to the old one with the caption: “Disney+ has updated its logo.”

Replying to the post, another subscriber asked: "Is this why my subscription is going up?!"

In response, another swiped: “We don’t care boycott Disney.”

A third user agreed: “Still boycotting.”

While a fourth added: “We want the old one back.”

“Noticed a few days ago! thought my screen colour was off at first,” chimed a fourth user.

While someone else typed: “I don’t like it, change it @disney.”

Last year, changes to Disney+ subscriptions first came into force, with monthly premium prices increased from £7.99 to £10.99.

The streaming giant introduced a new three-tier plan last year and increased its premium subscription price at the same time.

However, customers who had already signed up for an annual plan escaped the increase at the time, but now, customers will see a hike in the amount they must pay when their renewal is due.

This means that annual subscriptions will now go from £79.90 to  £109.90 from March 24.

After the price increases were implemented, Disney+ fans took to social media and penned down their disdain for the new change.

Another followed it with: "Get rid, it's the best thing I ever did."

As a third added: "I rang them, and there are no other subscription options in Ireland, so I am cancelling!"

The new Disney+ prices:

The two standard tiers will allow customers to stream content with a resolution of up to 1080p.
