Vanessa Feltz’s ex fiancé is to wed his reality TV star girlfriend - after a whirlwind three month romance.
Ben Ofoedu, 51, whose 17 year relationship with Vanessa collapsed over his cheating, has been dating Precious Muir, 33, since December. And at an event in London’s Soho on Monday, he was heard introducing her to multiple fellow guests as: “My soon to be wife."
One guest said: “Ben was very open about the fact he is planning to wed Precious - and soon. There was no secrecy. He introduced her as his ‘soon to be wife’ to several people he was speaking to, and gave the air of being as pleased as punch.
“It was a surprise given the length of time they have been together, but they both seemed to be very happy with each other.”
News of the couple’s plans will heap further heartache on TV and radio favourite Vanessa, 62, who had previously revealed Ben’s betrayal left her “damaged and wounded.” The pair, who met in 2005, had been engaged since 2006. But she dumped him last February after discovering at Christmas that he had been unfaithful.

Ben later admitted to sleeping with an older woman three times in Ibiza, and flirting with another, in a mea culpa interview. And in October, This Morning agony aunt Vanessa admitted she had been so heartbroken that she didn’t eat for months after splitting from the former Phats & Small star.
Meanwhile, Ben and his new love - who previously appeared on Channel 4’s The Circle - were pictured together just two months later at a Mayfair screening. They are understood to have met at a showbiz event after Ben opted not to use dating apps to find love again.
At the time, Precious admitted they were “spending time together” but refused to define their relationship, saying: “We haven’t put labels on it.”
But after the pair went Instagram official, Ben went on to gush last month that the model had given him his life back after his failed relationship with Vanessa. And he admitted he was excited to have children with her. He said: “I gave myself to someone for a quarter of my life and ultimately I got nothing from it... it’s absolutely heartbreaking. I met Vanessa when I was 34, and I lived 17 years in her life and it was all what she wanted.
"So now I’m with Precious, I feel 34 again, and like. I have got back my life. I have the same aspirations I had at 34. I’m looking forward to a bright future, many more Valentine’s Days, living together and children. All these things are incredibly exciting for me. Precious has made me feel like I have got my life back.”
While Vanessa had an unsuccessful stint at finding love after Ben on E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating. The presenter had been left heartbroken by Ben's cheating, describing the break up as 'horrible' and 'lonely.'

"So many women have shown this incredible empathy and love – and it makes a big difference, you don’t feel so alone. Literally, physically, I am alone – I’m in an empty house, it’s lonely. I don’t like being single, it’s not my thing and it doesn’t suit my personality at all – and that’s a scary prospect. But when your girls reach out from everywhere, and all the other ladies I don’t actually know yet but wish I did, it’s absolutely incredible."
The This Morning presenter was previously married to surgeon Michael Kurer, who she divorced in 2000. After Vanessa called off her engagement to Ben, the singer spoke to the Mirror and begged her to take him back.
"I'm sorry for all the pain caused to Vanessa, to her family, to mine. We had an amazing 16 years. It wasn't perfect, but it was amazing. I truly love her. She's the love of my life," he said. "Vanessa is perfect. She didn't have any issues. I was all me, my insecurities. It's my fault, my stupidity, I've thrown away my life. I hit the self-destruct button."
Ben blamed his infidelity on his own insecurity and Vanessa's reluctance to tie the knot for a second time after her first marriage imploded. "I began to realise about 10 years in that we would never get married. Someone not wanting to have your surname. I'm religious and the person you love most of all doesn't want to validate your love. That hurt," Ben said.
