P Diddy would use a common tactic to keep his close friends and colleagues from speaking about him in public.
The rapper, whose homes in Los Angeles and Miami were recently raided by the Department of Homeland Security, would use water-tight non-disclosure agreements to stop people talking about him, his family, or associates for his lifetime, plus 20 years.
His NDAs could also span 70 years, whichever is longer. The document has since been obtained and now details can be extracted, including a section which reads, "The [NDA] shall inure to the benefit of and the be binding upon the parties hereto and their respective heirs, executors, administrators, representatives…designees, successors and assigns."

He'd lived with Diddy from September 2022 to November 2023 while working on his album Love.

Singer Aubrey O'Day famously claims to have refused to sign one of Diddy's NDAs. "I have to release him for any claims or wrongdoings or actions prior to the date of the release," she said previously. "I have to sign an NDA that I will never disparage [Diddy], Bad Boy [Records], [his mother] Janice Combs or [son] Justin Combs’ music, or EMI, or Sony ever in public," Aubrey explained earlier last year.
Court documents branded Diddly's doc as a "standard Combs NDA", noting the 2022 contract states Diddy's reputation and private life is important. "Sean ‘Diddy’ Comes a/k/a Puff Daddy (“Artist”) privacy is highly valued and all efforts will be made to maintain confidentiality with respect to all information and other material of any kind (including without limitation, the terms, condition, and existence of this Agreement) …" the document stated, per RadarOnline.com.
They add that the beneficiaries include "without limitation," Diddy, his relatives, and "past or present fiancés/fiancés, husbands/wives, boyfriends/girlfriends, friends and business associates". They were banned from discussing Diddy's business and entertainment deals, financial affairs, personal life or provide any information that "may harm, disparage demean, or reflect negatively or poorly upon or cause injury to the reputation, character, or career of [Diddy] and/or [his family and business associates.]" The NDA stated any breach of the contract would result in monetary damage.

Law enforcement raided Diddy's homes this week, with the investigation tied to sex trafficking concerns, according to authorities. The news comes after Diddy was hit with a number of sexual assault lawsuits. Last year, he faced four different accusations, just ahead of the expiration of the Adult Survivors Act, which temporarily lifted the statute of limitations on the ability for victims to come forward.
On Monday, law enforcement told the Mirror of the raid: "Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available.
Diddy's lawyer, Aaron Dyer, also shared a statement with us on Tuesday. It read: "Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated."
Diddy's lawyer continued: "This unprecedented ambush -- paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence -- leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits. There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name." Diddy's lawyer also claimed the rapper's two sons were not arrested during the raid.
