COUNTRYFILE fans were left perplexed by a bizarre on-air blunder during Sunday’s episode.

Weather presenter Stav Danaos shared the forecast for the week ahead, although viewers were distracted by an unusual addition.

A faint voice could be heard in the background of the broadcast while Stav spoke, much to the confusion of those watching.

Viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their reactions, as one wrote: “Couldn’t concentrate on weather as background noise. #Countryfile.”

Another commented: “Can anyone else hear talking in the background? #countryfile.”

A third penned: “Has Stav left his radio on? #Countryfile.”

Another remarked: “I think there is a Deliveroo driver on the same frequency as Stav’s mic. #Countryfile.”

It is not the first issue to have been called out in recent Countryfile episodes.

A few weeks earlier, long-term Countryfile fans made their thoughts thoughts clear about an episode by branding it "boring".

The episode featured celebration of the 60th anniversary of the National Nature Reserve at Lindisfarne.

Meanwhile, Adam Henson met a farmer exploring whether a pasture-based system can work for dairy-goat milk production.

Some viewers were left disappointed as one stated: “I used to like watching #countryfile.

"I have had a few years off from it and looked in tonight. What have they done to this program? So boring!”

Another commented: “Just watching #Countryfile. Wow. It’s the ‘Crispy Creme Donut’ of#ClarksonsFarm.

"It’s like Jackanory…., through the round window let’s look at perfect farming. Where is the honesty?”

A third person added: “Pedestrian and not engaging as it used to be.

"And a presenter not knowing a kipper is a herring, despite having them for breakfast”.

A fourth viewer wrote: “#countryfile s**t tonight!!!”
