WREXHAM'S promotion heroes have been treated to a trip to Las Vegas for the second year running.

The Welsh club secured a return to the League One for the first time since 2005 after finishing second in League Two this season.

The Hollywood owned club finished just four points behind champions Stockport after a sensational campaign having won promotion from the National League the season prior.

And it would appear their stars have been treated to a trip to Vegas to celebrate their success before work begins ahead of next season.

The club's A-list owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds put on a "monster" all expenses paid trip to Vegas for last year's promotion winning squad.

And it seems as though the pair have offered up the same reward to this year's players after a number of the stars shared snaps of themselves enjoying the high-life in the US.

Former Wigan star James McClean, who joined Wrexham in the summer, posted an array of photos on his Instagram that showed the squad living it up in Vegas.

Ollie Palmer, George Evans, Jack Marriott, Ryan Barnett, Andy Cannon, and Arthur Okonkwo were some of the other players that were smiling for the cameras in the pictures on social media.

While other snaps showed the stars out for drinks and food before heading to a nightclub and donning Wrexham scarves on the dance floor.

The Red Dragons appear to have taken a more tame approach to their stateside celebrations this year after last summer's blowout.

Last year's squad hung out poolside with bikini-clad girls, dined at the exclusive Hakkasan restaurant and partied in Sin City for FOUR days straight.

They were also invited into world-famous DJ Steve Aoki's booth to celebrate with some music on one evening.

Co-owner Ryan Reylonds, best known for his role as Deadpool, even suggested that last year's partying was too much as he joked of a calmer approach this season.

He wrote on Instagram: "Next year, they're going on a five day meditation retreat in the Faroe Islands."

Clearly that hasn't been the case with the stars beginning their Sin City celebrations already.

And defender Max Cleworth will certainly glad of the return trip after he missed out on the partying last year as he was too young to be allowed into the clubs.

Now 21, Cleworth recently explained that he was excited to be able to join in the fun this year.

He said: "Hopefully just enjoy it a little bit more than I did last year! To be treated to something like that from the owners is unbelievable. I should be allowed in a few more places.

"Obviously I was still grateful to go, there wasn't much I could do about it. I couldn't change my age. I'll enjoy being with the lads and having a celebration."
