Kevin Spacey says he's got "nothing left to hide".

The former Hollywood star will be the subject of an upcoming Channel 4 documentary, titled Spacey Unmasked. He's already spoken out about the new show in a statement, saying he's "being attacked" in the two-part programme airing from Monday.

But now he's appeared in an almost two-hour long interview with ex-GB News presenter Dan Wootton, opening up further about his fury at the upcoming special. "I've got nothing left to hide," he insists, sipping on a hot drink while delving into the news.

The two-time Oscar winner has vehemently denied all previous allegations of sexual assault and was found not guilty over allegations by four men in an English court. Addressing the allegations again, Spacey told Wootton: "Even if it would have happened... it would have been simply embarrassing but not criminal. This was also happening at the height of the MeToo hysteria, so everything sounded worse."

"I take full responsibility for my past behaviour and my actions. But I cannot and will not take responsibility or apologise to anyone who's made up stuff about me or exaggerated stories about me," Spacey told Wootton. "Were there times when I would flirt with some of the people who were involved in those programmes who were in their 20s?

"Yes. Did I ever hook up with another actor? Yes. Did I make a clumsy pass at someone who wasn't interested as it turned out? Yes. That may not have been the best decision and it's not one that I would do today. But it happened. It wasn't illegal, and nor has it ever been alleged to have been illegal," he added.

Tweeting after the interview was uploaded on Dan's X account, Spacey wrote: "I will no longer be speechless. Thank you in advance to all of those who take the time to view this interview."

Channel 4's documentary features ten men who were involved in a sequence of events with Spacey, nine of whom have never previously been named. The stories are from over five decades involving men both straight and gay, with many alleging on camera there were situations instigated by Spacey which made them uncomfortable.

The Mirror has seen the film, which speaks to actors who met Spacey on set and at parties in both the UK and America. All ten of them suggest his behaviour was inappropriate in some way. Spacey insists he has not been given enough time to respond to the documentary fully and said pointedly on social media on Thursday: "Each time I have been given the time and a proper forum to defend myself, the allegations have failed under scrutiny and I have been exonerated."

"I have consistently denied – and now successfully defended – numerous allegations made both in the US and the UK, both criminal and civil, and each time have been able to source evidence undermining the allegations and have been believed by a jury of my peers."

Through his lawyers, Spacey also said that he has been publicly exonerated and has been acquitted of every criminal charge against him in the US and the UK. He denies engaging in any sexual harassment or other wrongful conduct in connection with House of Cards. He acknowledged participating in "a pervasive on-set culture that was filled with sexual innuendos, jokes, and innocent horseplay, but never sexually harassed anyone".
