She appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Monday as she said how seeing Dave on television following his death would bring a "different layer of grief".
Lili told Lorraine Kelly: "Everybody who loses somebody in their lives misses them but there's a different layer because if I turn on the TV, he might be on.
R&B star Anita Pointer of The Pointer Sisters dies aged 74"There are cookbooks in the house everywhere - he is everywhere; it just transpires and rolls on into this beautiful thing."
The Sun previously revealed how the TV chef left a £1.4million windfall for his wife — with her being named sole shareholder of his firm after his death.
Lili also recalled her first encounter with Dave, which was during the first ever series of the Hairy Bikers in Romania.
She explained: "I was running a hotel and he just accidentally ended up staying there, they were booked somewhere else."
The loved-up couple later travelled to Mexico and Argentina and Dave would always send Lili 'beautiful emails' about food and culture of the destinations he'd visit when she wasn't there.
Dave and Lili eventually married in 2011 after years of working at their relationship due to their busy schedules.
Lili's appearance on television comes as a convoy of motorcyclists will lead a drive in Dave's honour from London to his hometown of Barrow.
It's aim is to raise funds for Cancer Research UK, with Dave's best pal Si King also taking part.
