The summer transfer window is almost open and a great deal of change is expected at Manchester United over the coming months.

After a disappointing season in the Premier League, the Red Devils are looking to overhaul their squad. That will likely mean several star players head for the exit door, with Casemiro expected to lead the exodus.

The midfielder endured a dreadful campaign and now looks set to move to the Saudi Pro League. He could be joined out the exit door by captain Bruno Fernandes, who is attracting heavy interest.

In terms of incomings, Benfica star João Neves is on United's shortlist, though their move for him is stalling. Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest Manchester United news.

Barca make Fernandes U-turn

Barcelona have been offered the chance to sign Bruno Fernandes by the Manchester United captain's representatives. Fernandes has been heavily linked with a departure from Old Trafford this summer.

Fresh reports from Spain now claim that the midfielder has been directly offered to Barca by his own agents. Fernandes is said to believe that Barca's system suits him better under new boss Hansi Flick.

He is also keen to play for a side fighting for titles, with United some way off doing that. Flick is an admirer of Fernandes and Barca believe they could afford the price United are likely to demand.

Neves move stalls

United's pursuit of Benfica star Joao Neves appears to have stalled due to his hefty price tag. Neves starred for Benifca last season, making 55 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals.

Despite being just 19-years-old, he is drawing increasing interest from several top sides, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and PSG. But according to O Jogo, it is United who are 'ahead' in the race.

United's recruitment chiefs are said to see Neves as an 'important element' for the future. But their pursuit has run into difficulties over his £102million price tag, which Benfica are refusing to budge on.

Casemiro bid prepares

Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr are gearing up to make a £90million bid for Casemiro. The Brazilian is almost certain to leave United this summer, following a dismal second season at Old Trafford.

According to CaughtOffside, he is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, with Nassr making him a top target. They are understood to be willing to pay a huge fee to sign the 32-year-old.

Initial talks are thought to have already taken place between Nassr and Casemiro's representatives. The midfielder is keen on the move and it is now up to the clubs to come to an agreement.
