JAMIE REDKNAPP was forced to apologise live on Sky Sports after he stole his colleague's thunder.
The former Liverpool and Spurs star was part of the team presenting the broadcaster's coverage of Chelsea vs Tottenham on Thursday night.

Trevoh Chalobah had been selected for the award by the commentary team and headed pitch-side after the game to be interviewed by Redknapp, David Jones and Karen Carney.
The interview seemed to be leading to Jones surprising Chalobah with the award - the first in his Premier League career.

The premature moment from Redknapp led to an awkward apology when Jones did get round to announcing that the Chelsea defender was named Player of the Match.
Jones said: "Congratulations! Jamie stole my thunder, but you are the Player of the Match."
Prompting Redknapp to jump in and grovel, saying: "Sorry! I've given away the surprise! I'm sorry, but you deserved it [the award]. Well done mate, well done."
While Karen Carney jumped in and joked: "It's like when you ruin someone's birthday party isn't it!".

The cringe-worthy moment was played off well by all and Chalobah seemed chuffed to have won his first ever Player of the Match award.
The Cobham graduate impressed during the match as he scored the opening goal with a superb header after a Conor Gallagher free-kick.
Nicolas Jackson added a second to sink Tottenham who have had the week from hell after losing to both Arsenal and Chelsea in the space of five days.
Things could get worse for Spurs too as they face Liverpool on Sunday next up.
